R&M RichardsWomens 2PC Metallic Dress with Jacket

I will be using this dress for a fall wedding (grandmom). Being that I am 5' tall, the hem falls exactly where I like. As for the body, lol because of my pouch it's a tiny bit tight. Any larger size would be too big. I ❤️ the dress!

Looks pretty, but it will snag like the dickens - you will probably get only one wear from the dress before it is snag city. Runs small - jacket sleeves were tight, dress bust, waist and hips were tight, barely hits mid kneecap. All in all, I do not recommend for the price.

I am 5'4" and 170 lbs, with big shoulders, chest, waist, & hips. I ordered this in size 14 and size 16. The 14 fit well, so I did not try on the 16. This one is nice but the one I *loved* on me was " R&M Richards Women's 2 Piece Mesh Panel Beaded Neck Jacket Dress, Slate, 14 ". I am attaching a picture that shows both; this one is on the left. I felt like this one made me look bigger and the other outfit made me look smaller. If you are taller than I am, then this dress is slightly longer as you can see from the picture. This one is also fully lined and the sparkly bit is a separate layer of fabric on the outside. If you are tall and have more feminine shoulders and are less busty than I, then this might work better because it has shoulder pads and a good bit of fabric draping the front. I feel like both of these items look better with the jacket on, which is how they are meant to be worn. I would recommend either one, and would certainly look at R&M Richards again the next time I am buying a dress for a festive occasion.

Interesting that the features they want ratings on do not include the one area of issue for me; the FIT AT HIPS! The fit was decent everywhere EXCEPT THE HIPS!! I'm a solid size 8 in everything I purchase. My hips ARE proportional to the rest of my body. (I'm NOT a pear shape.) This dress has a practically straight up & down seam on both sides with almost no curvature to allow for a woman's hips. It's made rather cheaply, but not obviously. The color I would NOT call "champagne," but rather a "silvery gray." I would have kept it had it fit correctly. The price & comfy style are very attractive; but, unfortunately it must be returned. The shipping to & fro will cost ME about $10. I just wish it were made for an average woman's figure! Lesson learned. :(

The champagne dress was more of a gray than the blush or ivory I was expecting. It had to go back as it didn't match the wedding color scheme. It had to go back.

I plan on wearing this outfit for my daughters wedding. This outfit went beyond my expectations.
