I haven't "caught" anything significant yet, but I love exploring different water ways and trying my luck. Great product and a fun way to spend some time.

The magnet work great.

My son and I were excited to try some magnet fishing. A couple of noobs armed with magnets rope and a bridge over troubled water, we layer them down. Opposite sides so we didn't get them stuck together. It would stick to something under the water but not strongly enough to pull it up. I did catch the side of the bridge a couple times. But we already knew that was there. A tug on the rope would set it free. We came up empty on our first outing but was it the lure or the fisherman.

Saw another review saying the stuff didn't fit in the bag...but I got it to with no effort.Can't speak for the strength of the magnet, I didn't get anything lol. But my partner was able to bring in some railroad spikes and various small bits, they were fairly easy to slide off the magnet.Will need to get a longer rope to do it off any bridges by us but the rope that comes with is strong and worked well.

Very strong magnet with a nice thick cord. It should last years.

This is a nice set to buy getting started in magnet fishing. It is a decent magnet, not overly powerful but to get started before investing in a super heavy magnet it does the job. This kit comes with a rope and a bag to keep it all together. Definitely takes some time and patience when starting out magnet fishing and finding a good spot to do it without obstacles to get snagged in. Would not recommend buying an extremely expensive magnet until you get the hang of it first.
