The fishing rod is not airtight and has holes.
The figures might be described as "airtight," but the fishing rod is not. It has holes, allowing water to seep in, which will lead to mold accumulation over time. This is extremely disappointing.

My 18mo plays with it a lot
My 18mo is a fan. He loves to play with it in and out of the bath. I like that the little bits are sealed to prevent yukky water from getting into them. (The rod lets in water but is easily drained). So far no cracks despite pretty rough treatment. The fishing aspect is a little easy for him by now so maybe more suitable for younger babies
