My wire broke on my Astro A10s and obviously instead of looking for a replacement headset costing of upwards of £60.00, I looked for the wire on the official Astro website.They charge £10.00, which is expensive for a wire, however also charge £10.00 delivery with is outrageous and unpractical.No wonder people go looking for alternatives than the main brand distributer.So I came across this one for a cheaper price, and if you told me this was an official replacement I'd believe you. Look identical and most importantly sounds identical.Sound is clear and balanced.Microphone unaffected and remains high quality and high frequency.So overall this is going to be your perfect replacement.I do also recommend the Astro A10s, best headset I have purchased and I have purchased a lot of high end (£120.00 plus) as well as low-end £30.00 - headsets.Highly Highly recommend!

Very good quality braided cable and very long. Had a problem with the mute button and made a popping sound in headset when toggled off so returned it for that reason only. Would still recommend for the build quality though

Bought this as my official one stopped working, was sound for a month now the mic cuts out constantly, already replaced and the new cable is fine, also mute button doesn't work but every review says that, don't bother

Brilliant replacement however I didn’t realise you could only mute from it, not change the volume, but once we figured it out and used the tv control instead it was all good and seems robust.

Needing to replace the awful quality Astro headset wire form y A40 TR which has broken for the millionth time (sod paying astros £15 part price with £15 shipping charge) i decided to make my own cable.I picked this cable along with the Ugreen trrs y-splitter for their wire properties and the connector quality.This cable is very nice and strong, its fabric braid not stupid soft rubber that snaps internal wires, the volume control wheel works and functions in a way you can identify which direction to scroll to adjust the volume unlike the default astro a40 tr inline controller.the connectors are solid.highly recommend you buy this cable ALONG WITH the Ugreen trrs y splitter as a replacement for your really bad quality Astro Official A40 TR cable, you're not going to put a bit of strain on the ugreen splitter and cause the mic wire to snap inside the connector like you can expect out of the astro official wires, no, this cable and the ugreen cable are SOLID, im really surprised, and for £20 for both parts hey im loving it as i have peace of mind the cable won't snap internally on me.

Sound quality is good. Mute button does not work which is the main reason for purchase.

i got this for a replacement as my cat kept biting my wires as this is cheap wire it has lasted longer than the first wire that has come with ym headset and now its still running strong

Ordered as a replacement after my original a40 wire appeared to not work anymore. Works great and has plenty of length to it. Has a threaded material which I like as it stops the wire being damaged.

This is for the ps5 version, so Tip, Ring, Ring, Sleeve, in red.Looks good, sounds good.Would recommend

Loud static sound when plugged in. Got a replacement, also loud static sound continuous.Happy to refund, but would not buy.
