Fruit Ninja Slicer

Basically, it doesn't work very well, at least on watermelon. It doesn't cut well, requires a lot of force. In fact, a very strong young man tried it and also struggled. Went back to just using a knife, because a knife was much easier. I'd give it half a star, because it's a good idea. Just doesn't work.

I only give it 4 instead of 5 stars because, from a broader perspective, I prefer not to bestow my ultimate accolade on a product with such a solitary and non-essential use, even one as cleverly conceived and well executed it this. Yet despite (or perhaps because) of my philosophical slant on things, I must concede that even Occam's own razor couldn't slice a melon so safely, efficiently and enjoyably.

Idea is nIce but you lose so much of the melon near the skin....another item that will get donated...

I found it to be useless. Much easier to use a knife.

Not practical. The cutting wire creates unesessary juice. messy.

I have not had a chance to use it yet, but it looks like it will do the job.

Well made - works great!

It was really neat just takes a little getting use to. No mess and less cutting time. I would recommend for anyone especially some one with joint pain and easy clean up
