Support needed
This item can NOT be used alone. My daughter is 90 lbs and the second she sat on it everything came crashing down. I ended up buying three 2×4's and 6 joist hangers and then placed the item on top.

Much longer than twin bed frame
I ordered for a twin size bed. The slats are much longer than a standard twin size bed frame. Since we ordered the vertical slats, this made it unsafe, as if anyone sat on the foot of the bed, the slats would rise the whole mattress up.
