Having had covid, I found myself with breathing issues, then subsequently heart issues. I brought this as my asthma was very bad. I felt this was a good one, per tge reviews. My heart rate read as 98bpm and Sat's were at 100 percentI had a massive asthma attack, and was a minutes away from having a heart attack. I still had this device on my finger when the ambulance arrived. Needless to say both reading were incorrect. My heart was working extra hard because my lungs were affected by covid, I just assumed wrongly that it was long covid..andcwas normal. This device which was not working correctly could have cost me my life. ThereforeI say avoid ..I had to give it 1 star, to write the review

Very happy with the purchase. Accurate- I compared it against a reading in a hospital and it was almost the same. Good way to keep an eye on your stats. Very easy to use just put your finger in and press the button. I would recommend to use it at well lit places and keep it close to your heart.

According to Dr Google, you shouldn’t have an oxygen reading of less than 95 and should seek medical attention if you do. So far, I’ve not found anyone with a reading above 96. My entire family and a few random friends and neighbours appear to be at deaths door. On the plus side, we do all have pulses so that bit works fine. I’m working on the assumption that 95 is 99 and we should start to worry if we drop to 91.

I bought this to use with children and it is really simple. Easy to administer and the number are clear. The children think its fun.
