Caline DCP-03 DEVILFISH Chorus Delay Effect Pedal Dual Guitar Pedal

From an admitted tone snob, this one sounds great, not noisy even with fuzz pedals, chorus is extremely usable. One one caveat, the rate is very fast, so faster shimmer vibrato sounds can't really be done, other than that issue, it's perfect for the money, and built like a tank!

First Caline pedal. I’ve been a gear snob when it comes to pedals in the past. Got back into playing electric. Rebuilding my pedal collection a little more budget oriented. 1. I rarely do reviews. 2. I’m totally impressed with this one. Both delay and chorus are very nice. No tone suck at all. One power supply space needed for 2 very useful sounds. Good looking too IMO. Can’t speak on longevity but man I’m impressed.

I love this combo pedal! It sounds amazing and is really cool to look at. Update (about a year later): Delay part has stopped working. Is now a very large chorus pedal.

Chose the Devilfish after reading the many reviews. It didn’t disappoint.

I needed to find a good Chorus pedal for my acoustic guitar pedalboard. The Caline Devilfish was the end of my search. The fact that it acts a dual pedal with Delay was an added bonus. I was wanting to move away from the preset effects in my acoustic amp and get more of that analog sound. The Chorus and Delay can be adjusted separately as well as used in unison - it's totally my call. I'm no longer stuck with built in effects. My acoustic pedal board is now complete !

The popping noise when switching either effect on is much too loud for me to use this as a functioning pedal. The pedal does not make the popping noise when switching off so maybe it will fit your needs. If you can get this to function in your setup, such as with a A/B pedal , you'll like the sound for the price. I agree with another reviewer's comment, "It has a beautiful chorus and crisp delay. I did return mine. It didn't quite meet my needs..."

I love this pedal! I have many chorus pedals and am often disappointed that the tone gets altered dramatically when the effect is engaged. Not so with this one! The tone is clear and resonant unlike any other chorus I've owned! With the built-in delay, it's just perfect! With a sturdy steal enclosure and an amazing price, it's truly unbeatable! Highly recommended!

For the price it's not to bad. Very usable. I didn't hear any unwanted noise.

I saw this pedal randomly when I was searching for a budget Echoflanger, and it seemed like it might fit the bill. I haven't used a real Echoflanger/Polychorus, and this pedal is clearly different in many ways, however, for the purposes I need it for, it does the thing. Radio-Friendly Unit Shifter's intro and other parts of the song work, and so does the doubling effect in Scentless Apprentice, and so on. This is the sole purpose I have for the pedal, though it's actually two pedals in one, so I have to turn on the chorus side and the delay side separately. I plan to 3D print a bridge between the two switches so I can just stomp on that and have it toggle both at the same time.
