Worth eery dime
My husband is a quad at the C7 level. This cup is wonderful as it allows him to have his drink handy and saves me having to give him a drink all the time! The cup holder works well and the straw stays in position through car rides even. My request is for a larger size for use in bed.

An absolute MIRACLE and a BLESSING!
This is definitely a MUST HAVE for anyone dealing with multiple sclerosis! For once I can stay hydrated and not need to call my nurse every 20 minutes. I usually keep the mug filled with water or wine, depending on the time of day. It has a sturdy construction and the mug keeps coffee hot for a long time. They include a cleaning brush so you don’t have to worry about dirty straws. This is incredible. I love the clamped cup-holder that keeps it attached to my wheelchair too! This is the best invention! Can't wait to try out the Flexistand bedside table. I am so grateful to you all for creating this and making my life just one bit easier.

Liberating!
I bought this for my BFF who is quadriplegic (for 25 years) from his chest area down, able to use his biceps/shoulder/neck, with very limited use of forearms/hands (with braces and a pencil/wand, he can pull covers up around his neck a bit or scratch his face and parts of his head). He lives and is alone, with aides from morning until about 6:00/6:30 p.m., after feeding him dinner. For those 25 years he has had a large cup/long straw put next to him and his arm is wrapped around it in the crook of his elbow, the cup supported by pillows to help keep it from slipping down out of reach or falling away. He is right-handed so his water is cradled on his left side and he holds his arm and shoulder muscles tight to keep it with him, never really relaxing those muscles for almost 24 hours a day, causing a good deal of pain in his neck and shoulder/ upper arm. This is the first time losing his water is not an issue and he can relax, especially at night while alone. I drilled a hole the diameter of the cup in the top of a small shelf/bookcase (that serves as a night stand and can house other supplies/meds on lower shelves) and set the cup in it (the separately purchased cup-holders wouldn't work for us) and I attach the 36" straw through the Velcro straps of his (right) brace, along the top side of his forearm, and he can move the straw to his lips at will, without it getting away from him. SCORE! for just that much more independence! He loves it! And I love that he is that much more comfortable after far too many years. A seemingly small matter (as getting a drink of water) to most is absolutely liberating to some others. Thank you! to Flexmug for this!

I wished I knew about this cup years ago. My dad has been a quadriplegic for almost 15 years and I have never been able to find something as sturdy and flexible as this cup. He absolutely loves it. Specially useful at night because he can enjoy drinking water in the middle of the night, instead of waiting until next morning to ask someone for a drink. Highly recommended this product.

It would deserve 5 stars if the straw worked correctly
My son uses an electric wheelchair and has very limited use of his hands. This worked well for him until the water coming through the straw began to have small bubbles in it. It appears there is a problem with the straw/lid connection. Considering how expensive the mug is initially, and how much just a replacement straw is, this shouldn't happen. The stainless steel mug is much nicer than the plastic one he was using before, but we could replace the entire plastic tubing ourselves whenever it became necessary. That was much less expensive.

Hard for me
Great product. Inside diameter of the straw is a little small requiring too much suction Force for this ALS patient.

Worthy Investment! Great Invention!
The Fleximug is a worthy investment and a great invention all in one! When I received the Fleximug with the 24" straw from David at Fleximug, I was skeptical, however now I see it is worth every penny. David was very prompt with a quick response to my questions and suggestions of how best to utilize this tool! This is multipurposed mug truly allows for placement and position of the straw anywhere I want or need it to be! My favorite is on my stationary bike, where I can position the straw exactly where I need it to be so I can easily grab some water without taking my hands off the handle bars. It is a well designed high quality product that does not disappoint! Cheers!

Thanks but I can do it myself,
This product gave a person who is paralyzed the freedom to drink on his own and not have to call for assistance, that is a big deal. Thanks for the delivery it was on time.
