The best parenting book ever!!
The best book ever!!. I like it because it is not like a text book, I have read other books where they try to explain you the psychology of the kids behavior, and you have to read several chapters before they tell you what might work. This book, is more like if you are receiving an advice from another parent, straight to the point, but still giving you a very precise and short explanation of why. For instance the book explains that if a parent doesn't set up limits for their kids, it will be like if you go into a bank and they tell you that you are now in charge of the branch. You will feel lost and frustrated and would not know what to do (off course assuming that you do not have experience in that field). That the same is true, if you let your kid to do everything that they want without limits. The book explains that having rules, it is good because the kids feel secure and safe and they know what to expect. At the same time, what is nice is that the Suppernanny talks about general concepts not about parenting styles, these are guidelines that will work with any parenting style.

All parents should own this book
This is a great book. I bought the first Supernanny book that came out and while it was a good book I still had questions that remained unanswered because I had hoped it was a bit more specific. Then comes along Ask Supernanny which was exactly what I wanted. It has lots of great information and advice that all parents should know. It's very helpful and really makes life easier. It helps us deal with whatever problems we have with our son and fix them and help him understand that he isn't the boss of the house. This leaves for much more quality family time together, which is really what life should be about anyway. Great book.

Awesome 100% Recomended!!!
This book has been a blessing not only to me but to my entire family. Peace, happiness and almost cero stress have come back to my home. I was completely stressed out and desperate of loosing control of my 3 year old daughter; I was doing ALL the opposite the book said (within other things screaming, yelling crying) causing my daughter to be fussy, irritable, disobedient, disrespectfull at all times. This book explains so many things especially teaches you in a really easy way several techniques step by step; Once I applied them I got back my autocontrol as well as control over my daughter's behavior. In just 1 day she was obedient to my first warning. Isn;t it a blessing? She behaves almost perfect at all times, specially at a table during meal times, at times to fall sleep and when meeting others friends with kids. I am so very thankful to the Lord, to my brother who saw my desparation and sent me this book and of course to Supernanny.By the way, I have not seen one TV Supernanny program yet, but I am positive you will loose so many details you need to read if you just watched the program. Doing both will be a perfect success.

So Helpful!
Ask Supernanny is one of the most helpful parenting books I have ever read. My son was a terrible sleeper, we tried many techniques before finally resorting to the "Back To Bed" technique described in this book. He was sleeping in his own bed through the night by the second night. I was happily surprised it worked so well! We have tried a few of the other techniques in this book with equally amazing results.I am pretty confused about some of the baby care issues, but I assume it is a cultural difference. I am guessing Jo Frost's Confident Baby Care book would clear up my confusion.

If you like the show, youll like this book
I like to read, I love my kids, so, what would be a good book to read? This one!! Its a very useful guide to raise your children, let me tell you that I have tried some of the thecniques described, and they really work! But one thing I must tell you its that you should have first the Supernnany book, because its more complete than this one, this book is more like a support or reinforcement of the Supernnany book, so if your planning on buying just one book, Ill recommend you to buy first the other one, and then youll come back for this one :)

YOU MUST GET THIS BOOK!! LIFE SAFER TO SAY THE LEAST
This BOOK says it all. I have a 3 year old daughter and a 2 year old son, yes exactly 12 months apart. I was struggling with getting their behavior and sometimes outbursts in control. As a parent I felt as though sometimes it was about fighting for who was in control. This book helped me get the behavior corrected in just 2 DAYS! My Daughter slept with me for the past 2 years and after only the first time of using the recommended separation techniques as well as sleep training tools success! Even my daughter looks forward to our nightly routine. I would highly recommend getting this book even if you are a new parent, read it and refresh before you enter the toddler stage. I wish I would have but I am grateful to have this book in my hands now!

Good, practical advice
If you like the Supernanny series on TV, and have had some luck using the Naughty Step at home, then you may find this interesting and useful. Jo uses a Q&A format to provide approaches to deal with many of the problems we parents run into with our young kids. Within the chapters the organization is a little hard to follow, and she seems to want to label each answer as a technique ("Little Chef Technique", "Elevenish-Get-Up-to-Pee Technique"). But by paging through the book ahead of time, and using the index for specific problems, my wife and I have gotten a lot of use out of this book in parenting our wonderful if headstrong little daughter.

Common Sense
This book is all common sense written down. I love it. Whenever I forget a strategy for dealing with the children I have a dip into it.

General advice on many topics
Got some advice on potty training but its more of a general book going over various topics and some not relevant. Would recmnd her as she is really good but i should have got a more specific book for my needs to do with potty training. I love Jo and find her shows really good and her books are good too but i think i picked wrongly.

Supernanny
Good book, divided into sections which you can find easily if you are only looking to work out a certain issue. There is nothing new that she hasn't dealt with on the TV series. So if you've watched the series there are no new gems in here, ans she does reference the families from the series quiet a bit. But its clear and concise. My only issue with Supernanny is she revolves all the solutions around a 2 parent family dynamic. But the book answers a lot of questions.
