I am extremely happy with this purchase. I use it almost daily. Time saving to be able to make your smoothie, change the lid and go. Also use the small one for spices nuts, etc. only recommendation is that you make sure it fits your style of Vitamix.

Please check the video review posted by Leo. It shows easiest way to get the jars to be recognized by ascent vitamix, without having to align the almost invisible arrows!! Thank you Leo!! If not for your video suggestion, I would have returned the product. I use the same method to untwist a little bit before inverting and removing the blade base. Works like a charm.Very useful for on the go blends, small blending or grinding needs. Must have for vitamix lovers

I almost sent this back thinking that they were defective. For the life of me I couldn't get my A3500 to recognize the base for these. I searched all through the Vitamix help info and there was nothing about this issue at all. I finally did a search through DuckDuckGo and found a YouTube video showing the two almost invisible arrows that need to be aligned (or "within range"). I unpacked the box again and followed the video instructions. Woohoo! The base works and I can use the two containers! I'm so glad because the 64 oz container is just too big for a single smoothie!

There were some bad reviews, and I was hesitant. After all, they are expensive, and it would be quite an investment. But I’m glad I made the purchase. I no longer have to use the big container for an individual drink.There is a little challenge putting on the blade and getting the cup to sync with your machine, but once you get the hang of it, you will be satisfied. These cups are durable and great accessories to an already wonderful machine, “The Vitamix.” Many thanks.

Literally the equipment I've ever purchased. Expected more out of Vitamix.Pros:1) Lid is easy to clean--food doesn't get stuck under gasket unlike my old Ninja smoothie blenderCons:1) Difficult to screw on and off the lid because it's very large, causing cramps in my hands each time I use it2) Doesn't blend well at all. I have to constantly remove and unscrew the cup to add more liquids and move ingredients around because the blades are too small and flat and just spin around below the ingredients--I do not have the problem in my cheap, old Ninja. For example, I refroze a smoothie (from a top-rated smoothie shop so we know it was done right originally) I couldn't finish and went to reblend it the next day to consume it. I added a 1/4 cup of coconut water to wet it and after 5 repeated tries to crush, add liquid and blend it, it was still solid stuck inside the cup like an ice cube, so I dumped it into my old Ninja, hit blend and it was back in it's original smoothie form within 30 seconds.3) Smoothie setting doesn't actually work with this device--it over blends it and turns into smoothie soup (or as mentioned above, doesn't blend at all).

Love not having to dirty the big blender container when making a single serving. Cleans up easy and haven’t had any problems blade base not working on the blender motor.

I am using 5300 and purchased this for small usage. Functionality of these jars is good. But lid gets too tight and gets hard to remove it is a downside of it. I have tried almost 2 hours to remove it. I have managed to not to close it tight later.

Initially, I struggled with getting my base to recognize this new device. I kept lining up the arrows, tightening as much as I could, but nothing worked. I was in the process of calling customer service when I went back and read reviews. There it was-the solution!!!!! It is SO easy! Ignore the arrows!!! Once you have your ingredients in the cup, screw on the blade. NOT very tight!! Just enough to hold it in place. Put it on the base and switch it on. Of course, it shows that the base doesn’t recognize it. So, leaving it ON the base, simply tighten it. The base holds it in place and makes tightening super easy! Simply tighten until the digital horizontal lines turn to zeros.Same with removing blade. Don’t take it off the base-just loosen it slightly. Once again, the base holds it in place and makes it easy. Then remove from base and finish unscrewing the blade. No effort, at all, involved! Works like a dream!

Si bien tengo cierta experiencia hablando inglés, no fui cuidadosa al leer las opiniones, donde muchos se quejan de lo difícil que es hacer que la licuadora detecte los vasos, y eso me ocurrió a mí. El modelo de Vitamix que tengo es el V1200 de la serie Venturist, y por más torción que le di a los vasos mi equipo (ni un mes conmigo y solo lo he utilizado como 3 veces) detectó ninguno de los vasos y los tuve que devolver. Un video en YouTube igualmente en inglés muestra que ya en la base de la licuadora hay que apretar los vasos y... Eso es un terrible diseño, si bien la base de las cuchillas y los vasos son de gran calidad, para gente con poca fuerza es imposible hacer que esto opere, el que no sea tan sencillo como enroscar a tope y usar es un fallo muy grave por parte de la marca.

Durch die andere Rezession war ich etwas skeptisch, weil es hieß, amerikanisches und deutsches Modell passen nicht zu diesen Behältern. Man muss aber nur die Magnete in den Behälter in die richtige Stellung schrauben, so dass das Signal für geschlossene Behälter an das Gerät weitergegeben wird und dann funktioniert es problemlos. Seitdem sind die Behälter bei mir jeden Tag im Einsatz. Die Reinigung ist einfach und das Material erscheint robust.

Go ahead yo but this kit set if you are located at international EMEA & APAC as it is compatible. It was advised to mw by votamix before I bought it.

This starter kits works very well if you can figure out how to get your blender to recognize it (instructions to follow later). It is also very easy to clean. Thus, I strongly recommend this starter kit. However, I don't recommend relying on the manual for instructions on how to get the starter kit to work.If you are experiencing issues with getting the blender to recognize this starter kit, I suggest that you read the review written by "Amazon Customer" on November 11, 2023 in Canada (Verified Purchase). The instructions on that review worked perfectly for me! I really appreciate the help I received from the reviewer by following the instructions written on that review.
