I followed the instructions EXACTLY as described (and I'm a very literal person). The mouthpiece came out too soft from the soak in the hot water and was malformed. Then when I placed it upon my upper teeth, it only covered halfway back. Then biting into it with my lower teeth, I almost bit through it (no, I did not clamp down hard or bit suddenly). It just wasn't a very good fit, and not comfortable for wearing all night long for the intended purpose.

Bought this product to use with my whitening gel I buy from my Dentist. The mouth guards are soft and pliable, just as I had hoped. Would buy again, but must caution others not to try and mold uppers and lowers together. I thought that was what the instructions were implying to do-put both in your mouth at same time and bite down gently to form around your teeth. I did this and it worked except the guards ended up molding together and I was unable to separate them after that. If you mold one at a time you won't have this problem, if not for this I would give this product 5 stars.

I didn't read the directions, as I have used similar products before. The first time I put this in hot water just to make it maliable enough to see what size I needed, then I cut it to size (just a bit larger) then I re-put it into hotter water for the final sizing and molding. Worked perfectly and for a reasonable price. Yay! I have been using it ever since and voila, no more headaches!

Not at all what's needed for nighttime use. Nice and soft, but that's what will cause them to disintegrate with very little nighttime use. You get what you pay for. Can't begin to imagine what all the 5 star reviews here are about but Amazon reviews are becoming about as reliable as those on Alibaba. Way to ruin a good thing.

Dentist recommended I try some OTC night guards for my TMJ before I spend tons of money for her to make one for me- bought this one after trying a few from target and rite aid and these ones are great!! Easy to make and re-make if you mess up. Not to hard, not too soft, easy to cut if needed. It's very nice ~ like the case too!!

going to take a few tries to get molding right. Emailed instructions were different than package instructions. When guard properly warmed up and fitted to uppers, size shrank leaving rear teeth uncovered but the device still served its purpose.

This does what it's supposed to do. My dentist suggested me a $300 mouth guard and I refused to pay that! This one had good ratings for a decent price. It's simple to mold/remold and fits comfortably even while sleeping. I'm not sure what I'll use the second one for, but well worth it.

I am completely dissatisfied with this product. I have used numerous bite guards over the years, and this one is by far the worst. Poor quality, poor value, completely unhappy and feel ripped off.
