Just got back from a 5 day camping trip with about 50 miles of hiking. I bought this for my girl as a replacement for an old one we had from REI. It worked great. I brought a different one that was rated high on amazon to compare the two. They both cam leak free and worked great.The only problem I had with this one was that the bag was more plastic feeling rather than rubber, which may have helped for more of a taste free water, but it felt cheaper. The bite valve did not really flow a good amount of water with each pull. You really had to work for it. The tube wasn't insulated, which I knew, but it would have been nice.Other than that, it really did work great and I would recommend to anyone looking for a cheap replacement.

This water bladder has been pretty decent use for my cycling and hiking adventures. I was looking for something that could carry more liquid than the water bottle on my bike and thought I would give this water bladder a try. On first inspection, I felt this was decently made and crafted. The plastic has so far been durable enough but at the same time it doesn't feel very high quality. This was very easy to put together and clean. I was happy to see that there were no leaks and was easy to fit in my backpacks. I like that the hose is not overly flexible but rigid enough to retain its shape while going all about. The mouthpiece isn't a hard plastic like a water bottle which is great and can be pulled to open or pushed to close to maintain water flow. It is actually easy to open and close and when placing the cap on or taking off it will already do the function for you. Overall I am very happy with this water bladder. It is simple, straightforward, easy to clean and doesn't leak. I haven't had any issues with its function or design, which is exactly what I would be looking for in a quality bladder. While my fiancé's worked worked fine until day two of our trip, mine didn't even make it until the end of the first day before it stopped working. I couldn't get anything but dribbles. We checked the pack, the hose, and the lock but it just wasnt dispensing any water. We eventually resorted to literally opening the pack and drinking it from there instead of the hose. It worked great when it actually worked, but it was a huge inconvenience when we are on a mountain and cant get any water.

I love this, it had no foul taste, very easy to fill and I like to use ice as well so the cap was large enough to put some cubes in. The mouth piece doesn't leak and with the cover it keeps the dust out. I've used this for both local hikes and I use it on my motorcycle during long rides. Great product and company, will buy again from them.

Used for a twelve day hike in my back pack. Tubing was a little short for my 70 liter pack but I adjusted for it. The mouthpiece had a good lock and was easy to use. The tube started leaking where it connected to the bag on day 6 and soaked some of my gear. Fixed with medical tape on the threads. Overall great bag that fits a good three liters that I drank dry everyday.

About the product:This review is for the Sunny Trip Hydration Bladder. This water bladder could actually be used just by itself or fits in a daypack, backpack, camelback, or other such device. It will hold 3 liters of water. It is an army green color, I'm assuming to prevent light from getting in. An unusual feature of this water bladder is that the entire top opens for easy filling and cleaning. Tiny pictures imprinted on it show that it is good from +50 to -20 degrees. It also shows not to use it for milk, beer, or fresh produce, flowers, or hot liquids. These ideas probably would not normally occur to a person, except that since the entire top does open, someone might decide to get really creative in the way they used it. However, it is obviously designed for WATER not other things. It is a very nice water bladder and will be quite useful for camping, hiking, biking, etc. Also it can be hung, as from a tree, by the handle on top. And it can be rolled up and stowed away when not in use. Good price, seems to be good quality. Hose may be a little short. The bite valve doesn't work as well as Id like. You have to position it correctly otherwise water won't flow. This can be a problem on bouncy rides.

Only complaint I have is it seems to be harder to suck the water out than in other bladder systems but was a good price.
