Roaring Rockets (Amazing Machines) [Mitton, Tony, Parker, Ant] on desertcart.com. *FREE* shipping on qualifying offers. Roaring Rockets (Amazing Machines) Review: Bringing STEM to the little ones in an off to the moon adventure - It is a cute little book. Some of the pages might be a little dark, so the print may need to be read by someone who can see this kind of contrast. But the book is about rockets and with limited text and colorful pages. Not the most beautiful pictures. But cute with nonfiction information about rockets. Good for use with rocket stories, rocket toys, puzzles, games, movies, etc. Depending on the needs of the participants. Older readers can read to the younger ones and then they can play games or work puzzles about space and rockets, or play with water rocket toys, and make creative treats. This can be a rocketing way for participants to bond while fueling their imaginations. Bringing STEM to the little ones. Review: My toddler LOVES this book - For the past few months my 2 year old has been obsessed with rockets. He makes rockets out of his food, out of his feet, literally anything. He even loves watching old rocket launches on YouTube. He doesn't have any books about rockets and I found this one on desertcart and it seemed great. It rhymes and its not too long or too short. It keeps his attention span great and I don't get annoyed when he asks me to read it 5 times in a row!

So fun to read
This book is so fun to read! My 2 year old is obsessed with rocket ships right now, and this has been so fun to read with her. The art is also super cute and I love that it’s a pretty accurate story.

Great learning tool
My favorite thing about these books is at the end. Once the story is over, the last page has pictures and descriptions of the parts of the rocket but put it in kids terms, easy enough for my 3 yr old to understand. I have purchased 4 out of the 10 in this series and they all do that. The stories are simple and interesting and about everything that little boys love, while teaching them the jobs of the various vehicles and the people who drive them.

Nice little book, great value, durable.
This boom was included in the Amazon Prime Book Box subscription that I signed my 17 month old son up to receive each month and was one of four we received in the first box. It is a nice little book and the durability of the pages is good. Because this book is intended for 3-4 year old toddlers, it might be more appealing to my son in a year or two. The illustrations are not as bold and bright as the ones he is interested in now. The story is cute and this would make a great addition to a "Space-Themed" gift or be fun to read if you have a preschooler who is interested in rockets, and the like.

Great book for toddlers!
Great book that I read to my 13 month old son, something simple to read before his naps. We love the illustrations and he loves opening and closing the book (lol) when he gets older it’ll be great for his collection of books!

Your child/grandchild will absolutely LOVE this toy
Your child/grandchild will absolutely LOVE this toy. Our 2 year old grandson has been playing with it constantly since it arrive. It is easy for him to put the rockets on the launcher himself and he loves this. The one thing that we did was use some duct tape to add more support to the legs otherwise it kept folding in on itself. Still a terrific gift that offers so many opportunities to teach about movement with air, trajectory and how to change it, the power of force. And, not to be dismissed lightly, the sheer delighted laughter that accompanies a successful launch. Well done!
