I did it!
I finally found a pizza dough starter that helped me make a crispy, thin crust piece that tastes like it came from the pizza parlor. I am on a quest to make my personal best homemade pizza and Urban Slicer helped me do that. I actually bought their outdoor dough even though I wanted to use it with my indoor oven and baking steel (great, get one!). The order I placed comes with two bags of dough and each made a 12-14 inch very thin crust. I used my KitchenAid stand mixer with the dough hook to do all the work (US tells us to mix with a dough hook). I had already decided I was not going to do the 2-4 hour rise and I know not doing this can cause lack of flavor in the dough. I added garlic powder, onion powder, a bit of sugar, Italian seasoning and some olive oil before I added the warm water to activate the yeast. The instructions do not tell you to add seasonings, only warm water. I took the dough out of the stand mixer and had to add some more of my flour to keep it from sticking and to be more pliable, but the dough was extremely soft and easy to work with. I left the dough from the mixer rest about 10 minutes and then I cut the ball in half to make two pizzas. Let me tell you, I did no rolling! I was able to work the dough with my hands to start the shaping and then I pressed my hand palm and fingers to push the dough out from the center to the ends of my pizza pan. Just beautiful, just about filled the large pan. I had the oven and pizza steel heating to close to 500 degrees. My trick is, I but the crust only in the hot oven for about 3 minutes. Then I take it out and dress it...then, when I am ready to add the pizza to the hot steel, it's easy to slide or move onto it with a some spatula help. These two pizza slid right from 3 minute crust pan to steel in a snap. I baked for 4 minutes then rotated 180. Then about another 5. We like it very well done and it was, with pepperoni, mozzarella and some provolone, Did this twice and as I said, crust and toppings and degree of baking on the bottom, crust edges, etc. was so perfect. Thank you Urban Slicer! For making me a better homemade pizza chef! Folks, buy this! If you want super thin and delicious, try the outdoor grilling dough in your home oven. Worked great for me.

Great pizza
Purchased this pizza dough after reading the reviews. Great flavor and nice and crunchy. Used a pizza stone verses directly on the grill grates.

Little pricey but definitely worth the splurge for a homemade pizza experience.
Liked the ease of prep and how the dough finished on grill. Dislike price but honestly worth it for special occasion.
