I use this all the time when I'm sick. I boil in a pot and then remove from heat to let it steep. It does have a smell if you stick your nose in the bag but compared to the other views I didn't find it that bad or a turn off. I also can't smell it once I drink it as a tea. I do had honey to the hot tea to make it sweeter but I find this tea to be pleasant. Just follow directions if you are not accustomed to making loose leaf tea.

No complaints. I don’t have others to compare since it’s a first time buying marshmallow root. Clean & had good reviews. I spray it on hair, I bought for husbands gerd & to possibly use when I make home made marshmallows

I started drinking 2 cups of this as a tea everyday and while I really, really don't like the flavor, it has been so great at calming my gut. I tried prescriptions and OTC medications and some things worked okay with terrible side effects or lost their efficacy over time. This stuff has been awesome though, I'm finally able to sleep through the entire night for the first time in months. I'll probably buy it as a fine powder next time and mix it into my normal drinks though, it really tastes awful. It's got almost a sour smell and a not-so-pleasant flavor, but still worth it.

I really like this brand as a whole. I recently made homemade marshmallows and used this product. I was surprised by the almost horseradish smell (wasn’t expecting it), but I didn’t taste that at all in the marshmallows. I’ll be repurchasing this as well as their other products.

I used this to make loose leaf tea. This was my first time tasting marshmallow root and I personally do not prefer the strong flavor. Although, I'm sure if you like marshmallow root you will probably like this. I also thought it was a good price for organic.
