Excellent!
Did you ever buy a product, install it and forget about it? Well I did with this one. I mounted a Kenwood head unit in my FLHTK with no problems. If someone wanted to really improve this kit it would have to be with the face plate. It was a little glossy for a stock inner fairing but mine was custom painted so it was not an issue. I thought about flipping the textured surface inward and painting the smooth side to match but decided not too after I found it was not hard plastic but more of a pliable soft plastic (NOT rubber). If someone wanted to get creative I'm sure a thin sheet of brushed stainless would be cool! Once Mounted the deck was solid, doesn't bounce around and tight to the fairing.

Didn't fir right but stull best option out there
Didn't fit as explained, deck wouldn't go far enough into the fairing to clear the trim piece on the radio. Had to carve off some of the blocks and file out the slots in the fairing brackets. Still better option than trying to build radio brackets. Wish it had fit better though.

the only I do not like about this product is the fact no one else is making it so you pay way too much for something you need in order to run an after market stereo. As most of the "custom" parts for bikes....

Made Intsall or radio in FLHTP a breeze
Made install of Sony Stereo a breeze.Antannea could be better does not recieve from very far.Spend the money on a upgraded internal one.

Just right
I bought an aftermarket radio for my Electra glide standard and this kit made installation a breeze. The fit was perfect and the radio is solid, never moves.
