Absolutely brilliant read.

Being an avid reader of true crime and a born a bred manxman I decided to buy this book and found it fascinating. The book itself is well written and has a high level of detail and research information. There are many different cases to read and the style of writing enables you to pick it up as and when enabling you to be immediately immersed again. Some crime writers over complicate the structure which makes you have to back-track but not this one.For a small Island synonymous with safety and a secure lifestyle this certainly opens the eyes.A must buy and a great piece of work

As a resident of the Island, and born here, it was interesting to read some 'darker' history of the Island. It's good that I knew some of the places.I did find that the writer jumped around a bit (one minute you are on Monday, then on Wednesday, then back to Monday) and he introduced individuals suddenly without explaining who they were but nonetheless a pretty good read.
