I use is it for my child’s lunch. It’s a tight squeeze in the lunchbox. Also in the dishwasher, don’t use the heat dryer. It will shrink and or fit differently.

I have ordered a bunch of these because they do a good job of keeping food separated and not leaking. I haven’t had any trouble opening or closing the hinges. They would be the perfect lunch solution, but after only a few uses they don’t close properly. That being said, they are still usable for my purposes. If you don’t put anything too liquidy in your lunch, they should work for yours, too.

As other reviewers have mentioned, the lid is hard to close. I find it impossible to 'seat' the lid totally (but I can still use the 'locks' to close the box). As a result, this isn't leakproof as advertised. I would call it more 'leak resistant'. Still works ok, just wish it closed and sealed better.

I really like these lunch boxes, they make packing a lunch so so much easier with perfect portion sizes for my kids. They're completely leakproof and I can even add opened fruit cups! The one problem I'm finding it the lids get really hard to get back on after the first week. And yes I do handwash. Not sure what to do about that but hopefully they'll hold up.

It’s great but sometimes it’s hard to close. I have not washed it in the dishwasher. And cleaning the lid can be difficult sometimes too. Still a very good product. Just wish it would close a little easier.
