My Fuel Trims seemed erratic ...
2002 Lexus LX470My Fuel Trims seemed erratic and varied widely - 10 to 15+ at times.I used the Torque App on my Smartphone to monitor the LTFT and STFT readings. The original MAF was Hitachi like this one, so I ordered one.Now with this part my fuel trims trend around zero and not erratic.I definitely recommend this part.

99 Land cruiser works great
I bought this to replace the sensor in my 99 Toyota Land Cruiser. The OEM sensor is a hitachi and Amazon said that this sensor was compatible with my car, so I assumed it would be the same sensor... but it's not. The sensor I removed was a Hitachi 8X20. I will post a picture of the old one so you can have all of the old numbers if you need it. I was worried that the new one wouldn't do the job, but it has--flawlessly. Toyota wanted $180 just for the sensor, but this sensor on Amazon was a screaming deal (which made me a little nervous). So far, so good. I've been running with the new sensor for two weeks and driven over 600 miles with no problems.

Great replacement for OEM
Put this on my truck. Works just like a brand new item should. Quality stuff.

RECOMMENDED!
Works Great, drops right in, solved my check engine light (reset with OBD2 reader) . . . And increased mileage by about .7 mpg. 250k on the old one - should be replaced on hi mileage engines (even if check engine light not on). Hitachi - this is the factory part/OEM for my Toyota.
