After reading a lot of reviews on different items and watching dozens of YT videos I landed on this set. This set is very well made, and comes with quality accessories. There are no instructions but I feel like you should be learning this on YT videos instead anyway. People will teach you all the tricks and proper form. If you aren't good with your hands in general, or don't work a skilled labor job with your hands to begin with then sharpening will probably be difficult for you. But if your like me and have extensive experience using tools in general and already know how to genuinely get a feel for the tool your using "listen to resistance, proper form ect" then you will get the hang of this in no time ! this was my first time and I was moving quickly like a pro by my 2nd or 3rd knife.

Said here by others, NO INSTRUCTIONS.It seems like a good deal, but it's been youtube videos and googling "how to".If you have it, rough up the stone surfaces before initial soak! I soak it like you should, no bubbles. Odd but ok. I kept wetting it as i went along. Not a great edge.Next time, soaked it, BUBBLES galore! There must be a sealing coat that has to be rough away to allow it to be porous.

Comes with most things you need to get to sharpening. Wish the strop came with a platform to strap to.

This knife sharpener set is well made and useful for small knife, especially for pocket knife.

It is easy only for the person who has experience use knife sharpening

Not bad for an inexpensive beginners stone set. I sharpened numerous knives throughout the house and in my shop. Most are now sharper than when we purchased them. You'll need a sharpening jig/honing guide if you want to work on your chisels/planes. Doing it by hand just wont cut it. I recommend this product!!

These stones work great. I am a first time whetstone user and once I found a good Youtube video on how to use them it was simple to use. The only problem is that there were no instructions, but like I said Youtube has plenty of videos to show you how to use them. Now every knife in the house is razor sharp.

I was very excited to receive this, and it did arrive quickly. However, I was very disappointed that there was NOT A SINGLE word on how to use it, how to care for these stones, or the purpose of some of the items included, even though i am able to figure it out. Others may not. I know there are a lot of YouTube videos out there, but it would have been nice to include some instructions, specs, guidelines, etc, just to have a quick reference guide. Have not used it yet, as it just arrived a few minutes ago.
