X-Ray Me!: Look Inside Your Body

Good basic intro to anatomy
This has been a useful and enjoyable book for illustrating the basics of anatomy to my 4 year old. It has good simple illustrations for teaching toddlers about the major organs (the liver has been left out), some skeletal features (e.g., legs and feet are included, but not arms and hands), how we digest food, breath, and go potty (a major point of interest for this age). I would recommend this as a good start for a toddler, but if you're kid is older and/or asking broader questions, I would say to look for something more detailed.Pro: This was useful in addressing my kids questions about skeletons and muscles. It is a good solid book with a handle, which has made it easy to read over together and convenient for my kid to carry about and look through independently.Con: Omits some basic anatomy and didn't really provide much support in answering questions like "How does my voice come from inside me?" or "How do I hear things?".

Unique and Novel
This is such a unique book. I couldn’t wait to buy it as soon as I found out about it. It’s just as cool as I thought it would be.
