It works well but is quite loud.
It works well and runs on batteries. I initially used it to alert me to patrons entering my premises but it became quite bothersome because it has no useful volume control. It uses a piezo speaker that buzzes and I tried to dampen it but was unsuccessful. It is built of plastic and looks better in the pictures.

Don't buy this
It doesn't even work. 1 out of 4 times it will work, but even then it is delayed.
