Fitbug Orb Bluetooth Activity Tracker - Retail Packaging - Pink

The Fitbug arrived on time or earlier...delivery was not an issue. The package came with a note, stressing the importance of keeping the original packaging until you complete setup of the device. I appreciated that.The package was small enough to come in regular mail, left in mailbox. It was original retail packaging and all parts were included. The box came with a wristband, a clip, and a lanyard (and of course, the Orb). The color of band I got was bright pink, like bright hot pink. The picture of Orb on Amazon to me looks a little more red than hot pink...BUT it's hot pink. I like it anyway.The device itself was not very easy to setup on my phone. I setup on the computer and had no problems converting to US measurements. I have had to review the general information a few times, to remember what the flashing lights mean, etc.At first glance, the Fitbug website has a bunch of information about all sorts of things. I would have liked to see a more personalized dashboard without all the extra stuff on the side. It is clearly meant to be helpful, but I find it more annoying than helpful.I sync the Orb to myfitnesspal and sync all of that to HealthKit. I don't think the Fitbug app really communicates well with myfitnesspal...I could be wrong or it could be an IOS issue.It is a pretty accurate measure of activity, in my case anyway. I use it to track regular steps only, I am not an athlete AT ALL. I wanted something to keep me aware of the need to move around.For the price, I am not disappointed at all with the seller or product. I've only had the Orb for about a week. I am terrified of getting water on it, though. I have read that it is absolutely not waterproof. That was kind of a bummer.Overall, as an entry device into fitness wearables, the Orb is not bad at all. I recommend buying from this seller, as the product was sent on time and clean.

I received my fitbug yesterday and was very upset because the subscription number kept coming up as invalid no matter how I tried (caps, no caps, dashes, no dashes etc).However, today I went onto my PC to try and register my account via fitbug.com itself instead of through their app or their site on my phone, and it registered without an issue. I left my fitbug at home, so I haven't been able to try it out yet, but I can't wait. I will update the review once I get to try it out.

This item is difficult to set up and you have to go online and update it daily. It can be difficult depending on what browser that you use. I cannot add activities correctly on my computer or laptap. But I can go on my tablet and update my activities. I don't think that this item keeps as track of your activities as correctly as it should. I went on a jog and it didn't track it as a run , just as steps. Wouldn't recommend spending the money on this

I was just looking for a basic fitness tracker with the amount of time and distance spent working out. I started looking into them and thought it was crazy to spent $100+ for one. I looked around in a few different places and this one was more in my price range and I thought would meet my needs. I hadn't even considered the sleep tracking, so that is a bonus for me. I didn't have any problems setting it up and it seems to feed fine to my samsung S3. It is exactly what I was looking for and I am happy with it.

It's cute, fits comfortably either on my pants or on my wrist. My only complaint is that I don't think the steps are necessarily accurate. I've compared it to the pedometer on my galaxy s5, and they are pretty different. I know my phone is pretty accurate, but I don't always have my phone on me, which is why I tried the fitbug. I think the fitbug under counts my steps... but at least it does so consistently. For the price, I say it does a good job and would recommend it.Also, the app is a hit and miss sometimes, could use some improvement.

I do not have the mobile devices so had to separately order a dongle for my pc . I have tried without success for 2 nights to get the sleep mode to work and followed the instructions without any success. I also cannot find a way to adjust step length although it shows it can be done on portable devices. The website is free and I like it but thought I would be able to get more from the orb than just tracking my stepsUPDATE: found it needed a dongle that seems unobtainable except through Fitbugs website. No phone number to call in an order and a messed up order information screen (title keeps changing back to Mr and does not ask for state, just city and zip cod then throws in Alaska as state and will not accept corrections) no matter what I try to correct my card declines but works fine everywhere else! This is a nightmare and I found out the Fitbit has a dongle included with their product!

It's great!!! I track my sleep, my daily steps, all my exercises. I found that it does link with MFP (My Fitness Pal), which is a plus so all my meals are logged through MFP and my exercises are tracked on the orb and automatically logged in the fitbug app and transferred to MFP. The plus side is that it was cheap cause I really didn't want to pay $100 to $200 for a fitness tracker that I could only where on my wrist. I like the fact that I can switch this from my wrist to my hip, cause I talk with my hands a lot and I don't want that being counted as steps or an exercise I didn't do. Over all really great product and a really great app, it's easy to use and easy to get started. Half the time I forget I'm wearing it lol.
