Very good quality, nice print, now adorns my previously asylum-levels-of-bland wall. I had made the silly decision to try and tape it to the wall at first, but removing the tape resulted in some... damage..Don't use tape on it. Otherwise, very cool. B)

It's a good quality map but just a little smaller than I was expecting. I should have looked at the measurements more closely. It is not large, more small to medium sized I'd say.

This is a large - 42cm by 65cm world political map. It’s up to date so includes South Sudan. The colours are relatively muted for the countries. I’m not too sure of the blackish sea colour which, as sea relief is indicated in varying levels of black intensity, appears to be a little mottled. The decision to include US State capitols means that some curious place-names are included as some are quite small in terms of population. Details is OK and there’s some indication of relief on land as well as sea with major river systems shown.The map uses a Van Der Grinten Projection which means that the poles appear far larger than they are in reality with high latitude countries looking a little too large and counties closer to the equator a little too small. The distortion associated with a Mercator Project most notable with Greenland isn’t quite so obvious with this projection though.Usefully the map comes in a cardboard tube. I’ve seen others which come folded which are not ideal for putting on a wall. This is fine though.Overall a decent world map. Four stars.

This is a really nice map. I was looking for a black map to put in the kitchen to help me get the countries into my head whilst making cups of tea, and this is a good size and a lovely finish, stylish and not overbearing, but legible. Once the kitchen is upgraded, I may get a new copy of this map and frame it - its that attractive!

Taipei was spelled wrong, US states VT and NH were labelled wrongly

This poster is lovely looking, a nice focal point for a 9 year old boys room that isnt your typical blue map. Looks great with the rest of his room decor.

The quality of the print is really good

My map came in a protective card tube and was undamaged. Its made from nice thick quality paper stock, well printed but some of the writing is very small, so you will need a good magnifying glass. For me the grey printing was difficult to read. The colours are suitable and somewhat muted.I like looking at maps and find it interesting how they portray the world. Maps can be powerful political tools and it is no surprise that a map printed in China promotes China's claim to the South China Seas. Most people probably wouldn't notice or even care but I find this sort of thing fascinating.

Great thick poster to remember all the nations governments and the people of the world.

Exactly what I was looking for. Has a somewhat glow effect with the print so able to read. Will be hanging up and framed. Everyone needs a map in the house.
