EKOEva Pedal Kitchen Bin 30 Litres, Waste Bin with Removable Inner Bucket, Soft Close Lid, Stainless Steel

This is a lovely stylish and sleek pedal bin, and at a pricey £69 I thought I was investing in a quality product. So I was surprised to say the least when it became unfit for purpose after less than two weeks use! The lid became misaligned on closing and after finding a small piece of black plastic on the floor I located this to the back of the lid where the hinge mechanism is. I then found a stress crack to the rest of the plastic and then when I pressed the pedal the lid just fell off. I did consider requesting a replacement as I really liked it, but have decided not to. So for now, my faithful (but well used) ten year old stainless steel Brabantia pedal bin has been rescued from the garage. Lucky I didn't rush to take it to the tip!

Looks great, I love the colour and the softly closing lid is quiet. However, you can't overload the bucket as it's a mammoth effort to pull the bin liner out. The bucket could do with being a bit more tapered. The Brabantia bin of the same size we used to have was easier to empty.

Very pleased with this pedal bin. Lovely colour, easily hides the inner bag. The lid closes nicely too. The best looking bin I have ever had.. I normally hate kitchen bins but I really like the look of this one

Mechanism broke under normal use and only arrived early December. Lid became totally detached. Upon inspection looks very flimsy - thin plastic. Returning and getting a Brabantia.

Perfect colour match for our kitchen, well made and great delivery time. Really pleased. Well worth the money.

Love the colour , good size bin for small kitchen . Nice soft close and pedal operation. Also the inner is easy to remove . Well made and looks good in the kitchen
