Moist, fresh, delicious. These are big soft dates and are some of the best I've had.

I love dates and eat quite a few so I know dates. I bought these this month - March 2026, holy cow, GORGEOUS. BIG plump, sweet and they taste just like candy. I tear them open, smash into carob or cocoa powder, a small swipe of peanut butter and then a half walnut in the middle. Everyday I have this as an afternoon snack with tea and every time I open that box, all those luscious dates just waiting for me to eat them. I have to limit myself. I buy dates all over - grocery store, bulk, on line, in person in Coachella Valley and THIS IS THE BEST BOX I HAVE EVER HAD. The Price is great, $1 less per pound than the OK ones I buy locally in bulk. In fact, I think I am ordering another box for the freezer.

5 STARS ABSOLUTELY!!! I was getting a different (more expensive) brand on subscribe and save thru Amazon until they were out of stock. This brand, "Double Date," was substituted (with my approval) and I was a bit hesitate when they arrived, assuming the quality would be effected due to the lower cost (almost $10 in savings). However, THEY WERE EVEN BETTER!! Two of these delicious dates and a glass of Amond milk is my breakfast every morning and I am a happy camper! We'll worth the price! I keep a small container at room temperature and they are soft, moist and satisfying. I keep the rest of the box in the fridge. For me, they are PERFECT.

I've purchased this this box of Double Date dates over ten times in the past couple of years. The first half of these orders the dates were fantastic--fresh, moist, and chewy, with little to no bugs or mold! (If you've had Medjool Dates before, you know this can be a common occurrence, especially for the organic dates--which these are not.) However, the last half of the orders I've received have been quite hit or miss. The dates of the most recent boxes were dry and tough. I hope the owner see the comments and improve the quality.

Plump, big, fresh and delicious!!!! Only problem I had was I failed to see that they still have pitts in them so be careful when you bite into them! Probably won’t buy them again because of the pitts which is a bummer because they are delicious.

I use a lot of dates in my vegan recipe's. These are wonderful.

Wow! 5lbs of the softest, juiciest dates ever! For the price, I was expecting dried up dates but these are the biggest, freshest dates ever! It's like I got 5lbs of hand picked premium dates! Buy them, you won't be disappointed.

I received a complimentary replacement box of Medjool dares to compensate me on the first box that I had ordered that were to put it nicely, highly disappointing. The company outdid themselves! They not only were packed correctly (they made sweeping changes to that problem) but were promptly delivered right to my door. They were literally the best dates I've ever eaten..like delicious candy! Plump, succulent and so tender, would highly recommend! I regularly order the 1 kg packages. They have always been of great quality and freshness. The dates in this 5 lb box were stale and far from fresh. They cannot be returned and refunded or replaced with fresh product. I am disappointed 😞

I’ve ordered these twice before and the product was very good. I knew something wasn’t right this time when I opened the bag the box was contained in and there was dried bits of skin everywhere and the dates rattling around inside. Opening the box the dates are rock hard and dried out, they are impossible to eat as you almost break your teeth. I can’t even return them as it is a “non returnable item”. Won’t be ordering again unfortunately.

Usually medjool dates are soft and tender, these dates are like little rocks. You have to microwave them before biting or you will break your teeth. DO NOT PURCHASE.
