Great product to make you better at your game

I absolutely love this product and wanted to give it a 5 start review. However there have been issues. My father and I run a baseball/softball school and we have around 100-120 kids that come through our facility weekly. We use this product along with other products to test, track, and set goals for our athletes.This product is great for tracking launch quickness, bat speed, hand speed, time in the zone, barrel path, and some other awesome metrics. It’s also easy to use with several players and can be switched from 1 player to another quickly for team use. The 3d visual of the barrel/bat path is an excellent resource as well.However, I had to return the first sensor I bought because it became stuck in the casing that attaches to the knob of the bat. Amazon refunded me no questions. This second one does not turn on all the time. We have constant issues with getting the sensor to turn on and every now and then the sensor misreads a swing, which is no big deal, but the 3 star rating is because we have issues getting the sensor to turn on.I do need to call diamond kinetics. I’m sure they wjll rectify the problem.Bottom line, great product I highly recommend for kids of all ages (10+).

Piece is crap! Doesn’t charge. We have had it for 35 daysish and we are past the return window So there is nothing we can do.

Update: The green sensor holders ripped within a month and then a week. They are pretty weak and you should expect to buy a 5 pack from Diamond Kinetics within a month, especially if you are using your game bat for your data (taking it off and on is obviously not good for it).The problem is the subscription service that you need to get if you have multiple children and you want to see their basic information about the swings. They literally lock you from seeing the swings...kind of sucks Zepp baseball is gone.Took me a little while to get it started after getting out of the box as I was used to the Zepp setup. But once I got it going, seems pretty good. I like the wireless charge up (once you get the turn and push motion down when removing the battery).

I bought this hoping to improve my son's batting performance. Though it seemingly tracks the path of the bat, the app doesn't provide any guidance as to what is considered a good swing, nor how to get better.Also, you cannot view past batting episodes to perform analysis. In fact, if you spend an hour tracking swings and walk away from the app for any period of time, it locks you out of seeing your swing history. You can only view "past" sessions by paying a monthly fee. So, in the end, unless you are willing to pay for the device AND pay a monthly fee, you literally get nothing of value.
