Orenda Technologies PR-10000 Phosphate Remover - 1 gal

I was not sure of this product mainly because of the price. But you use just a very little bit, so it will last a long time. It completely eliminated all my phosphates. I purchased the One gallon Phosphate remover concentrate PR-10,000 Orenda technologies. I use once a month, I have a 10,500 gallon pool and put in about 5oz. Now I do not have a lot of vegetation around my pool but we have lots of birds around and of course dust dirt from the wind etc. I just pour the 5oz around the perimeter of my pool and I do nothing else.

Orenda PR-10000 is the brand of phosphate remover that a very knowledgeable person recommended because it's more concentrated (5-6 times more concentrated than other phosphate remover products according to a company spokesperson), so at Orenda's price it's more cost effective than other brands. However, probably all you need is a quart of it, which you can probably find on amazon.Phosphate is a nutrient that algae helps algae grow, so no phosphate = very very slow algae growth if your chlorine level drops too low. So reducing phosphate levels in your pool will help ensure algae doesn't become a problem before raising the chlorine level back up.CAVEAT: This product is NOT a substitute for chlorine as you still need chlorine to prevent algal (and bacterial) growth. This product just helps ensure against algae growth.

Best product I've found for removing phosphates from the pool. I'm a lazy pool owner, really want to fill it in but the wife won't let me. So over the winter lots of things, like leaves, collect in the pool and decay creating tons of phosphates.I typically need 2 qts. in my 15K gallon pool to get back to a low level and rarely have any algae problems the rest of the summer. Much more economical than the other products my pool store recommends for this. I've used for about 7-8 years. Love it.

This is WONDERFUL PRODUCT FOR SWIMMING POOL !My pool got BLACK ALGEE and I look advice on UTUBE and found one video professional person , tell history how Algee happen and recommend to buy and I did .My swimming pool out side , 15x30 and 15 thousand gallons, I put 15 once only , water come in white cloudy, it’s normal and pump run for 8 hours , next day ( you can swimm ) still little cloudy, on third day was clear and a lot BLACK ALGEE WAS GONE .Second time I did after 2 weeks all the same and now 100% is gone !I live in YUMA ,ARIZONA it’s a lot sand and sand storm , so will always use this product I got no chance I LOVE TO SWIMMING!PRICE IS VERY VERY GOOD FOR THIS AWESOME PRODUCT!

I used it to control our Alge in the pool without adding metals . So far it’s doing a great job. We had no idea how bad most chlorine tablets are.

Take away the food source for algae and the algae is gone. Product works as advertised. You do have to be a bit careful and not put in too much at a time. Best to dose twice if phosphate level is high with a DE filter as pressure spikes as it does it's thing. Has reduced my chlorine usage a huge amount as algae is kept in check.

This product is very expensive at the local pool store, I was very happy to find it at such a low price online. It works great! After the initial dosing, the water is quite cloudy and the filter needs to be rinsed fairly often for several days, but afterwards, we have crystal clear water with zero phosphates! We have added this to our regular maintenance pool chemicals and are very happy with the results.

This is the only product that has worked for us. Actually got phosphates down to zero. Well worth the cost.
