Bang for your buck
I first got into the robotic vacuum world about 5 years ago with a roomba. I got it because I was so sick of tracking in dirt from work into my apartment. It worked ok. It didn't have mapping it was completely offline, and struggled to clean around the edges of the room.I got a house and a husky and decided I needed to upgrade.I got this model based off of online reviews. Here's what I like about this unit. The mapping is a game changer. It can clean my living room, kitchen and dining room in about a half hour. It first cleans the perimeter, and then cleans the rest. It doesn't replace a vacuum, but it reduces the frequency in which you need to vacuum. It also helps with clumps of dog hair that accumulate on the perimeter of your living areas. the lidar it won't run into things at full speed. But if you leave a sock on the floor it will still suck that up and wrap around the brush.I like having an app that I can remotely start the vacuum. It shows me where the vacuum currently is in the room, where its been, and status updates it the brush does get wrapped etc etc. . That said, as far as integrating this vacuum into a smart home has proved a bit more difficult. The app itself seems to struggle to acknowledge that this device exists in the cloud which is causing issues.overall I like it. You should get it.

Good choice for a LiDar robot vacuum
The setup process is easy and straightforward. The robot can connect with the app without any issue. Within 10 minutes, it can start cleaning. Some additional feedbacks:Lidar is really really cool! You could see the lidar sensor from my photo, it has 2 lidar transmitters rotating rapidly during the clean up and it makes the behaviour way smarter compared to our old roomba which only bumps around randomly.Got reached out by the mova team that they provided me some useful tips on using the devices that I can set a virtual wall on the app and it won’t run into the part of our living room that may stop it from cleaning. 5/5 customer service!Have to say it is the ideal device for a cat owner like me, You could see how much cat hair I got!----Several good things:The robot has a spinning LiDar sensor during the cleaning process and I could see the layout of the house, the robot and the cleaning path on the App. Have to say it is fun to see the robot moving on the ground and on the app when it is working. The sound of the sweeper was not so bad, my cat won’t freak out when it is cleaning. I can see by default the robot was in the “normal” mode, in the app it says it will take a longer time but less noise, which is good. If you don’t have a cat maybe you can try the turbo mode that will clean faster.Something could be improved:The robot can’t 100% free you from cleaning, you still need to make sure there is no charging cables or large pieces of obstacles on the floor. Though the robot can stop safely if it can’t handle. I met 1 time that a screw on the floor stops the machine and I have to pick the machine up then remove the obstacleI think it is a pretty good sweeping robot at the price range since this might be the only one at the price range as LiDar and mop.

It works until it doesn't
When it works, this robot vac is fine. But it periodically just 'loses' the map or gets confused on where the dock is, and you get to start ALL OVER. This is a huge pain if you have a home of any size. It takes it two runs (battery doesn't last long enough to get it done in one) to remap my house. Then I add in the no go zones and virtual walls. So you think you're all set and fixed the issue. And then, for no reason, a few weeks later, the vacuum gets lost again and you realize the map is all messed up AGAIN. I've had this for about 10 months and this has happened at least 5 times for no discernible reason. e.g., It works great, it finishes, it docks. And a day or two later when I try to use it again, the map is messed up. Customer service is nonexistent.

Things to know
We've had the Mova about 6 months and so far it seems to do a good job cleaning. It is very easy to empty (we do this after every run) and the brush can easily be removed for cleaning. The mfg does not recommend using it on shag carpets and we don't use it with water. Understanding the robot's operation is a bit tricky because the manual just tells you what to do, and doesn't really explain what's going on. You can clean a room just by putting the robot in the room and pressing the run button, however most of the features are accessed using the My Home app which you need to download from the Android or Apple store. Programming is done by connecting the robot to your wifi network where it connects to the cloud. I would strongly recommend connecting the robot to your guest network to do this. My Home (on your phone/tablet) will use your regular wifi network to connect to the robot via the cloud. Your phone/tablet then becomes your remote control. Since you need to setup the robot to get access to your wifi network you do this by connecting the robot to your phone/tablet using Bluetooth. All this still makes my head spin, but I guess this is typical for IoT.The no-go feature has one obvious limit. No-go limits are set by adding them to the map generated when the robot cleans (every time the robot runs it will generate a map of where it cleaned and upload it to the cloud, where you can access it using the My Home app) Since there is no map until the robot cleans the first time, anything on the floor that might be damaged by the robot (my wife's plants) needs to be removed or barricaded until the no-go zones can be setup. Scheduled cleaning also appears to be done via the cloud. (my wifi went down once and the robot did not execute its scheduled cleaning)The My Home feature to create the no-go limits needs improvement. You size the no-go limits by dragging the no-go limit edges once you place them, however you can not zoom in on the map, and since most no-go limits are small, this is difficult to do on the tiny map on you cell phone. All this is a bit much, but it beats vacuuming by hand.

Long battery life and cleans up pretty well.
The media could not be loaded. I got this vacuum for my house because it can connect to Wi-Fi and the app...Once you set it up with the which will take you some time it does pretty well clean up easy to use the app and navigate to where you want to clean it up the vacuum itself has a bunch of sensors that detect where it will go around and clean up which is actually very cool as you can see in the video below when it hits the part that I can't continue going it like bumps in the drop and then backs up and then turns around and continues doing the cleanup.I use the app when I navigate but you can as well use the actual on button by just holding it on the battery for the device last very long when the vacuum is about to go out of power it by itself drives back to the home which is the charger to finish charging and on the app I was able to set up what time I like to continue the vacuum to do it as for the vacuum itself has a nice size storage container that collects all the garbage into as you can see in the picture it's pretty easy to open it up and it's a decent size of space to collect garbage. As for the mop it's pretty easy but it is a job small where you put the water into it's not such a big container but it does a pretty good cleanup I have one floors works great the mop that it has on top of it cleans up pretty well most of the messes and does the job pretty decently well then me taking our normal mop and mopping it decently regular myself. So overall I would say it does the job pretty well it's a very cool device it's my first robot vacuum that I have gotten it's not too big so it doesn't take up too much space to keep around my house I just keep it in the corner easy to work with easy to navigate so it works well for me.

Good value
Was looking for a robot vacuum for our store but didn't want to pay the more popular brand price. This one was on sale so decided to give it a try. This is our first experience with a robot vacuum so not sure if the laser navigation works or is better than a unit without it. We can report that it runs on schedule as we programmed and cleans the store overnight after everyone is gone for the day. Haven't been around when it's actually doing its thing so not sure how efficient it is or if it gets everywhere but we do notice that the floor is cleaner and a lot less dust around in the mornings. Perfect for our purpose.

My new lil Cleaning Champion
I already had a regular and robotic vacuum cleaner. However, I wanted to use an newer model which has both vacuum and mop functionality. Ordered this one based on the rating and found it amazing. It cleans and mops pretty well. Very good suction power with nice in built AI technology to avoid crashes. Covers most of my living and dining area and also the room. Easy to charge and very convenient to use (can be activated using Alexa). Liked this cleaning champ, would recommend to buy if you want a good cleaning and save time.

DO NOT BUY
We loved this robot vacuum until one day (after about a month of use) it stopped mid-clean and kept saying there was an internal error. Now the vacuum is completely useless and MOVA will not reply to any of our emails !! If you check their support page there is only one way to reach them, through a generic email address and I doubt they provide anyone any support through it. There is supposedly a 1 year warranty, but that means nothing if they simply ignore customers! DO NOT BUY this robot vacuum as you will receive no help if something goes wrong!

A top of the line robot for a mid-range price
A top of the line robot for a mid-range price. Excellent in every aspect, like battery life, suction power, in mapping our home and navigating between obstacles.
