Fits ankle perfectly, but only stays ice cold for 10-20 min.
I have tendinitis in my Achilles, and I've been using it for a couple weeks before leaving this review.Pros:-Perfectly conforms to all the areas of my ankle that are swollen from tendinitis-Very soft and comfortable-Lightweight, easy to walk in-I don't feel embarrassed to wear it in public because it is well designed and discreetCons:-I noticed it takes longer that my other more traditional ice packs to freeze; about 2-3 hours-It only stays at peak coldness for 10 minutes, and only stays cold at all for about 20 minutes. After that it is room temperature. (I think this is the sacrifice for having such a lightweight and formfitting shape. It just doesn't have as much fluid in it as a traditional ice pack.)Overall, I find myself reaching for this particular ice pack over my others when I want something to gently ice down all the swollen areas of my ankle for 20 minutes or less. When I want something for deeper tissues or that stays very cold the whole time it is on, I reach for my traditional ice packs instead. Also, the price is totally worth it for the quality.

It's a good back up ice pack when you're on the go.
I really like how easy it is the wrap my ankles when I need to ice them but have to work. The gel pack is nice and soft. The down side is they don't stay cool for very long. So this won't work if you need to ice for a full 15-20 mins but it works great for between those times.

Inconsistent quality
Bought one of these in August and loved the way it conformed to my ankle and stayed on even if I got up and walked around. So I ordered another one in December. There was very little filling in it, far less than the first one, so it did not stay cold long enough to be useful. Very disappointed. Would have purchased one or two more, but the inconsistent quality is an issue.

Heal my sore sprained ankle, twisted it Brett bad. Help ice it down well... It's usable.

Great idea, could use a little improvement.
Works well for the ankle and fits perfect. I have a loose joint and I can put this right where I need it most. I would give it 5 stars but it goes warm in about 10 minutes and I really need more like 20. Good for a quick fix or tight spots.

Better than I thought it would be! Can get a nice snug fit around the ankle that stays in place, remains cold.
