Galaxy Tab Active3 - Upgraded from the original Tab Active with 16GB and Android 6, to this with 128GB and Android 10. A giant performance leap. Absolutely love this thing. The size is perfect. Like the ruggedness. Battery replaceable when it eventually poops out. What's not to like ? I never really cared much for Galaxy phones, but in tablets, Samsung rocks.

So I've had this tablet for a minute. I was looking for a device that would replace my laptop, cell phone and WiFi device.Basically, I was looking for an all in one, portable device.I've been so far very impressed with this device. In an industrial setting, I'd probably upgrade the case it came with, to further protect it from everyday stress. But as I'm using it as my personal device, even using it at work in a restaurant setting, is far more durable than any cell phone or tablet I've ever owned. I used to be wary of Samsung devices in an every day setting, I found then to be very fragile and painfully lacking in upgrades and performance. I took a chance with this device, and I haven't been disappointed.It hasn't been submerged, but it has been rained on, snowed on (and dropped in the snow) dropped from a reasonable level, less than it's rated for, but from a level where almost every other device I've owned from any other company has broken or at least suffered from. The pen is the same same quality.I haven't bought any other case than what it comes with, which holds the pen nicely, and all I've added to it is a good screen protector and a cheap pop holder to make it easier to hold. That combined with a 1 tb external card, it's better and more powerful than a laptop or smart phone of the same price.Like I said, I use it for everything, and it's with me all the time and everywhere I go. It even fits in my pocket (I wear tru-spec pants, so my hip pockets are very large, which is where I carry it, if it's not in my bag).The battery life is impressive, especially because I'm using it all day long. I might have to charge it everyday, but I'm also using it all day long.I highly suggest this device. Samsung stepped up their game with this one and won me back as a customer, because of this device, alone.

When covered with a Rantice heavy duty rubber case, this 8 inch tab feels perfect for the job. Screen resolution is quite good too. Handles AutoCAD Mobile app quite well.

8" screen is just the right size for handheld use on the go. Big enough for extended reading sessions, not so big you can't throw it in a knapsack. CPU and memory result in fast and smooth response. Build feels solid: no flex. I have used it in the rain without problem, have not had occasion yet to test water immersion tolerance, but don't doubt it. I'm using it on Google Fi, cellular connectivity has been fine.I got this for use in car for navigation and entertainment (having an older and non-replacable built in), and on the boat for navigation, it runs those apps very well. But I can't rate 5 star because screen is just not bright enough for use in direct sunlight. It's rated 400 nit. This is plenty for any indoor use, and is good on a cloudy day, but I need to tip the screen down to read it in the sun. On the boat, I'm looking for some kind of hood I can use, haven't found a good setup yet.

8" screen is the perfect size for a tablet that aims at being useful both as a rich navigation tool when driving and as a handy tablet to carry around, use as a portable video player, as a notebook to use for form-filling, scribble on using the passive pen or take pictures. All even with one hand. Larger tablets, of course, offer more screen real estate but or not nearly as portable, are more fragile, and are not ruggedized like this one.CPU performance is mid-range. Display resolution and brightness are excellent; battery life is superior (2+ days).I have not been able to test it in high-temperature conditions (still winter-time), but even when used intensely, the battery temperature stays much lower than on equivalent phones. I expect it to handle high temperatures in the cabin much better than most phones.

the tablet itself was very sturdy and feels heavy duty. I liked the removable battery feature. The only problem was that it wouldn't boot up at all. Charged it overnight. got a full battery indicator reading on the screen, but it wouldn't turn on. Went through al of the internet reset procedures I could find. I also got on a chat with Samsung tech support. They told me I could send it in to them to see if they could repair it, or swap with a newer tab A model for an extra charge. The tab A is not a ruggedized tablet, and Why would I exchange the tablet for a lesser model for more money? Basically no help. Basically they want ed me to give them the old tablet and buy a different model for full price with no refund. I returned to amazon and went to best buy and bought something else that I could try in the store.

My first Active Tab was, I recall, an Active 2. Great fun except not enough internal memory for many applications.I immediately purchased on Active 3 Enterprise with 128GB. A perfect friend for everything I do. Even though I managed to crack the screen last year - all my fault - it's worked perfectly. You don't even notice the hairline fracture. Very tough stuff.I just replaced it with the exact same unit 128GB with LTE. What happened is that I used a right angle USB -C plug. The plug shorted out and melted into the Active 3's USB port. I had to carve it out with an exacto knife. Remarkably, the Active 3 bounced right back until this past weekend. It would charge but not with a reliable connection.I'll add, I bought a 12GB 3F sim for $20, 1 year coverage. Perfect cell data backup.

O item veio como esperado, embalagem íntegra, bem condicionado. Chegou dentro do prazo previsto, até com folga. Parabenizo e agradeço ao vendedor pelo cuidado e diligência. Sobre o aparelho, tenho usado o tablet e ele tem atendido bem minhas necessidades (trabalho e estudo). Não cheguei a por à prova suas características de resistência, mas só o fato de poder estar utilizando e transportando o aparelho sem quaisquer preocupações adicionais, isso está sendo sensacional. Não cheguei a usar a função LTE até o momento. Algo de que gostei bastante foi da autonomia. Uma coisa que vale ressaltar a qualquer interessado é que o aparelho é mais significativamente pesado do que os tablets da linha comum, mas isso é algo característico das linhas de aparelhos rugged, sendo já esperado, e não me incomoda em nada. No cômputo geral de minha experiência até o presente, eu recomendo.
