GAME 4407 Water Bomb Factory

When it works, beautiful. How much does it do that? 1-2 balloons and then boom, jam. Yes, it works only with low water pressure but come on, this gets stuck and there is nothing you can do but unscrew and start all over. For all that pain, its the same as filling them by hand.It gets 2 starts just for the tie mechanism itself. now THAT was a lifesaver.This is a good idea but could be great improved...by fixing the water pressure and also including sink hose connectors. I cant imagine everyone who loves water balloons MUST have a garden hose.

Maybe we've gotten lucky - but we bought two of these last summer, and never have had a single problem! My 4 year old could even tie his own balloons! It is that easy! I am back to buy more for gifts and was surprised to see the negative reviews. We love it and everyone who comes over wants one! Recommend you get bio-degradable balloons!

Based on the reviews, we decided to make the purchase, because as with many toy items (and other products) I try to take out the super high and super low reviews and find the middle. Unfortunately, like with others in the 1 to 2 star range, it worked for the first 5 balloons, then stopped. Release pressure and worked for 2 more, then finally, nothing at all. We let it go for a day or 2, and I checked it out to see if I could find anything wrong, and it looked fine. Tested it out, and alas, nothing. Looks like we got a bum factory too.

This thing is great for tying balloons but as it says in the directions it needs low water pressure and apparently while I thought I had it low it was still too high as the fill nozzle stopped working after one balloon. No matter how low I try it, it still won't work. Like I say in my review title. Filling sucks but tying works like a dream. I no longer have to tie hundreds of balloons for my son and his friends. They just have to use a standard water balloon nozzle to fill.

I spent 40 minutes trying to get this thing to fill the balloons. In that 40 minutes I filled 2 balloons. Complete trash. The tying part is a good idea but it's faster just to do it by hand. The problem has something to do with the pressure of the water, another person who did a review said to get a shut off valve to hook on to the hose so you can control the water pressure. Well I did that and it still didn't work. Bottom line, please don't waste your money.

I was a bit skeptical because I've been burned by a bunch of these cheap plastic toys -- I have purchased a number of water balloons that come with plastic nozzles that have fallen apart after the first couple of balloons. This water bomb factory, however, worked very well. I clamped the valve to a concrete window sill, and it took me about 10 or 20 balloons before I really got into the groove and was able to then go through the rest of them (filling them) very quickly.My only complaint is that the water balloons that came with them are a bit thick for water balloons -- they would not pop when they directly hit a person when they are filled to "normal fist" size -- my boys and I had to throw them at the hard floor or a tree to make them pop. That said, I purchased this kit for the valve and not for the balloons -- I purchased this along with the "500-pack water spashers water bombs" that are also available here on Amazon. (Those balloons are perfect -- they fill up to only fist size, and they pop very easily when thrown.)

Great idea, but it only filled 15 balloons when the valve inside the toy would allow no more water through it. My kids fumbled to fill the balloons with the garden hose and used this toy to tie them. I gave it as a gift and was unable to return it due to damaged packaging. It was cheap, so I may try another one. The kids realy got a hang of how to tie the balloons with this contraption.

Do not buy. Like other reviews indicate, the device's valve malfunctions and stops filling balloons rather quickly. We were only able to make 10 before it permanently stopped working. We tried various methods of getting it to work again. No dice. Returned to Amazon.

I wasn't too sure about this after I read some of the other reviews, but ours is fantastic. It only arrived this morning, so I can't comment on its longevity, but it fits to the hose connector (though there's an extra bit that I overlooked at first, which you need!) and once you tighten everything, it doesn't leak. The kids (9 and 6) were using it happily within a few minutes. I fled for the house and they worked their way through the pack of 100 balloons that came with it. Wet, happy kids and happy me too because now I don't need to buy the scarily expensive balloons on stalks -- I can buy normal water balloons and let them fill them with this. Hurray!Update!!We had this for a couple of weeks with much water bomb hilarity. Because of the weather, it was used three or four times (but well used -- they filled 20-30 balloons each time). It's stopped working -- the plastic no-tie bits at the top have bent out just slightly and will no longer ties balloons that are more than half full. Kind of disappointing but it's such a great idea (and so fabulous when it works) that we're returning this one and ordering another in the hopes that it's just our one that's not 100%.

This was absolutely useless & far from cheap even, if it had done what it said on the tin.This product is so bad that I am sending it back which I hardly ever (if ever) have bothered to do before.The main problem is that you have no control over the flow of water. Generally it is completely shut off. we tried experimenting with very, very slight water pressure & gradually increased this but to no avail. Interestingly the only time it seemed to work at all was when we had switched the tap off & there was water in the hose pipe. We were then able to fill 3 balloons. I was convinced nothing so simple could be quite so useless & felt we must be doing something wrong. We tried it on 3 separate days - spending around 20 minutes each time before we were convinced that it was just a con. If you have made the mistake of buying this product, then I would strongly suggest that you give it to someone you really do not like. It should give them many hours of frustration.

This product is fantastic it dose what it says on the packaging but not so sure about filling 100 water balloons in 10 minuets.It really easy to use pushing down on the valve filling the balloon quickly & tying the knot effortlessly in seconds.I found that when the product was delivered & opened that it dose come with the correct fitting 3/4 hose male adapter fitting that connects to a uk garden hoses.

I love the clamp - I struggled to get the hose attached to the water bomb factory - but apparently we don't have the right connector. However the children were more than happy to fill direct from the tap. The huge plus for me was the fact that the children were able to use it to tie the balloons themselves. Usually it ends up being my eldest or me tying all the balloons. The children had great satisfaction that they could do it independently and it was quick.

It works well although I can't work out how to use it's knotting system so I knot the balloons the normal way. It makes a squeaking noise is you don't shut it properly, However, this is not too bad.
