How I would know these are truly fresh is beyond me, but these Brazil nuts do taste really good and are nice and firm without being dry or too hard. I'm pleased.

I am amazed by the size of each nut, cute kind of big. The package and the story behind this brand make me feel I treat myself nice.Most importantly, this brand lists how many mcg of selenium in their nuts, which is not every brand that sells brazil nuts dose, becuase it is not required. We all knows that brazil nuts contains great amound of selenium, but truth is it really depands on if the soile that brazil nuts grow up with is rich with selenium or not, so if you are buying brazil nut because you are looking for seleenium, it is better to check the Nutrition Facts of the product and to see if selenium is listed and the mcg number is how much. If you are not looking for selenium, you just like to eat brazil nut, you can ignore this paragraph. :)Taste: very fresh, no odd flavor.I did some research on selenium, it is an important element for our body, especially good support for immune system.Looking at my daily diet, I feel foods I eat on daily based do not contains enough selenium, so i decided to add Brazil nuts into my diet. These brazil nuts are so fresh and so delicious. I will buy again from this company. And they have selenium. Most brazil nuts in grocery stores if you look at back of package it doesn't even say it comtains selenium. This is a great product!

At last! I've been buying every Brazil nut brand out there, searching for my memory of plump, delicious raw Brazil nuts that I had from years ago, before they became popular and trendy. I used to get Sunfood organics, but even their have now consistently been arriving in brown , rancid crumbles. I particularly need Selenium in my diet (as we all do).I bought a small bag of these nuts to start off with, just to check the quality, and biting into my first one was a revelation. heaven. They are buttery and fresh, delicious and perfect. Whole Brazil nuts, not crumbles. Thank god. I'm a loyal new customer.
