A really handy bit of kit which I only came across by chance. I make a dip with yogurt and thinly sliced cucumbers and this makes it so easy, not to mention that I now do get thinly and evenly stripped cucumber for my dip. It is versatile so I can see it coming into use for other vegetable slicing. Anything that helps someone who avoids spending too much time in the kitchen must be good news.

What did I do without this for shredding spring onions to have with duck and pancakes 😀

Bought this for doing thin strips of spring onions, but the blades move as soon as they touch the onion and spread out so it's pretty poor quality.However, it washes easily and it is easy to hold so if that's your criteria go for it!!

Great little gadget to shred spring onions (also used with runner beans-work quite well with these), much faster than using a knife, just run it along the length of onions or beans, easy to clean (have used the dishwasher to no ill effect (so far)), so far no fear of it ending up at a charity shop, very happy as it didn't cost a lot. Ensure you don't loose the blade cover as they are very sharp.

Was looking forward to using this tool as I use quite a few bell peppers in my cooking!!I am so disappointed with it, it was easier to slice them with a knife!!
