It does not smell too strong but its OK

The smell of the comb isn't as calming as the description makes it out to be but that isn't really an issue if you're using beard oil anyway. It will eventually hold the scent of the oils used. I recommend a tea tree and lavender mixed with sandalwood and fir. This ensures cleanliness and a soothing fragrance as the tea tree and lavender have natural antimicrobial and antibacterial properties. The sandalwood and fir give you that woodsy smell that the manufacturer was looking for. It is a good comb though. The little red pouch it's delivered in isn't necessary or practical.

Love this comb! Great grain, superb scent and no awful logo/etching to be found. Exactly what I expected. Mine came with a "bent" (had to have been an issue with the carve) tooth on the fine side of the comb but I don't see that being an issue whatsoever. If anything, it adds character.NOTE: I have no idea what they meant by "stretch" so that's why I rated in the middle.

Bought this to replace a folding style wooden beard comb I bought earlier this year (FYI be wary of the folding style, mine started literally falling apart after a few months a light daily use). Had it for a few months and love it, a nice solid piece of wood, well machined, the sandalwood appears to be good quality. Also, I have a curly beard so tangles are always a concern, other combs got snagged if I wasn't careful, but this one manages to glide through only getting caught on the nastiest snarls. Makes me a lot less worried about combing it out in the morning, and beard care is a little less of a chore.

Great product. Smells amazing and very easy to maintain. This is my third and final growth. Since using this product, in conjunction wit my beard oil, I've noticed a change in my beard this time around. I am noticing the growth in my beard is thick and much more full than my last 2 grows. I made the mistake by using a brush which was damaging the growth in my beard. I even used other beard combs believing it would help. Unfortunately, the combs were a bust, too! Subsequently, I've been using this comb which not only brings a light masculine fragrance to my beard, however it keeps my beard looking nice and manageable. I recommend this product to beginner - veteran growers. #BeardOn
