I've been noticing some rather large spiders in my apartment lately (small bodies but very long legs) and normally I use a glass and envelope to capture them and pop them out of the window.With this unit, you don't have to worry about having an envelope / paper to ensure the spider doesn't escape. Easy to use and due to the long handle, you can get to places where a glass reach may have issues.I've also not killed any spiders or amputated legs using this device. I even managed to use it to evict a moth from the apartment.My only criticism (and not the sellers fault) is the amount of packaging it came in - the box was extremely large and packed with brown paper - bit overkill from Amazon there - but that could be due to the targets of the packers - and if they can't find a smaller box, they go large.

Helps me catch those hard to reach spiders! The plastic is a little bit brittle so be careful when storing it.

This device is really easy to use to catch spiders. It's well worth the price. The plastic on mine was a little scratched/scuffed when it arrived (but was in a brand new box) but it doesn't affect its function so it's not really a problem

I now live on my own and I have a massive phobia with spiders, I don’t like to kill them after all why should they die because I’m scared of them so decided to order this, since getting it I’ve only had to use it once and the spider wasn’t to big but I was sooo brave and boom spider caught and released... happy spider happy me, the length measures 71.5cm I wish it was a bit longer tbh, all in all it works great, some of the other reviews are complaining it was a bit mucky and didn’t look new it’s just factory dust.... does it matter NO. If you have a phobia you should buy this.

I was very impressed with this when I got it. I live in a very spidery house, so this felt like a godsend. Unfortunately, it loosened after a couple of months, so there was a gap between the two halves of the base of the dome - a gap about the size of a smallish spider - unless you were careful to hold it closed. And then after a few more careful uses it totally fell apart! I hope to be able to put it back together, but this is not what I consider good quality.- It fitted back together fairly easily, so I am going to adjust my rating.

Sorry but this didn't work for me! Was really looking forward to getting this as I live in a rural area where we have big house spiders come into our house even outside of spider season. Normally hubby will deal with them humanely catching them not even a flicker of fear and put them outside. But I needed something when he works late and I am faced with them alone. So had my chance the other day I could not use this properly on the carpet it wouldn't close under the spider and I don't have the bravery to keep looking to see if it is in right part of the catcher. So I killed it by accident. Maybe this is good for things that don't run fast and are on hard floors or walls but it didn't work for me.

This is the first decent spider catcher I have ever managed to find and a real godsend to an arachnophobe like me. Much as I can’t stand spiders I never want to hurt them as I know they are actually harmless. What I love about this contraption is that it catches them painlessly and you can release them in one piece outside the house. Others I have used have claimed to be cruelty free have actually just broken all their legs which I think is hideously cruel. Also you don’t have to get anywhere near them as the handle is a decent length. I would like one in every room really but will settle for just the one for now. Highly recommend.

Product does what it says, twist handle works great, nice long handle. Super expensive at £25 for a plastic handle and dome, especially when you can see yellow glue coming out where the joints are and it's dirty and tatty looking. I know it's only job is to get out insects but at £25 I'd expect to look good quality, not like something glued together at home.

J'ai déjà un modèle équivalent mais plus petit, dont je suis le seul à me servir... ben oui ça éloigne pas assez de l'araignée à choper (de la grosse araignée). Bref ce modèle à un long manche et l'action de fermeture de la trappe se fait à l'extrémité du manche. Donc ma femme et mes filles font l'effort de s'en servir, même si c'est moi qui doit relâcher les "monstres" loin, très loin dehors.

Also, das Gerät ist ja nicht gerade günstig, aber es hat sich für mich definitiv gelohnt. Ich habe damit schon echt fette Spinnen, Wespen, Motten und anderes Getier problemlos vor die Tür gesetzt. Es ist für mich, die ich größere Insekten im Haus mega unangenehm und eklig finde, eine echte Erleichterung, zu wissen, dass ich die Viecher schnell und unproblematisch damit rausschmeißen kann. Und die Krabbeltiere kommen noch nicht mal zu Schaden...Daher fünf Sterne.

€31 sono una esagerazione talmente assurda almeno farlo più lungo visto che bisogna adoperare due mani sarebbe anche funzionale ma i ragni negli angoli non li metti dentro tutto sommato per me è appena sufficiente tutto ciò.

Das Teil kam in einer sehr kaputten Plastiktüte hier an. Dobere teil ist so zerkratzt und dreckig das ich davon ausgehe das es bereits schon einmal benutzt wurde. Ansonsten erfüllt es seinen Zweck.

Einfache Handhabung, sogar Weberknechte oben in Zimmerecken habe ich damit erwischen können. Der Mechanismus funktionierte bisher bei mir immer einwandfrei. Mit diesem Ding bin ich endlich ruhiger, denn ich erwische damit jede Spinne.
