We really like this tray. It's substantial but not heavy. The side handles are just the right size for our hands. It's a great size, too, for carrying cups of coffee and a biscuit or two. Nicely made.

After perusing Amazon for a tray for what seemed like an eternity, I chose this one, and am very glad I did.It was packaged very well in a sturdy box inside an Amazon box. Delivery was astonishingly quick.This tray is beautifully made and very sturdy. I am sure it would be more than capable of carrying food, etc.I need it to keep the coffee table neat, so it's for remotes, cell phones, current bills, etc.If one is on the fence about buying this tray, I don't think one would regret purchasing it.
