Not too bulky.

We first bought the BlueFire mitts for men and they were fairly large. In addition they didn't withstand the heat from our BBQ very well. (We have to walk from our garage up three floors to our apartment holding the cookware. It gets hot!) I wanted my wife to feel comfortable using these as well for everyday things but the mens would've dwarfed her hands. We think these women's pair is perfect! I'm manly enough not to care that the grips are pictures of cupcakes so that my wife can feel more secure while using them without 4 inches of extra finger fabric. They even withstand the heat better than the mens pair for some reason. The arm protection was a big plus for us. Summer BBQs get super hot and you have to expose more arm than you would think so these are really worth the money and the 5 star rating!

They are easy to wear/put on. I could feel a bot of heat, but did not burn me. I have only used them inside. I like wearing them because they don't slip off so you don't accidentally touch pan with bare skin. Can not use with wet hands or gloves as heat goes through. I would buy these again and will buy another pair for camping.

We enjoy outdoor fires so I bought them for my husband. He likes them and uses them all the time.

Took these camping and used them to grab pots off the fire and adjust fire wood In the fire.worked great. They do warm up if you’re in the heat too long which is a helpful warning.

I bought these thinking they were the best heat resistance gloves on the market. They seem to work better than the ove glove clones. However, I have grabbed stuff that I though would be no match for these and it started to get too hot to handle. I think they are very good gloves but overpriced.

I don't usually write reviews, but these are so great that I have to share. Also, they are my second pair of this material, and by far the best of the lot I have tried. First, with this material you can easily and securely grip a HOT dish from the oven or stove, and hold it for awhile. Second. these fit a woman's hand perfectly. ( I wear a size 8 ring) . I bought these mostly for in kitchen use. They run a bit large, as noted in the advertising (I usually wear women's large gloves/size8). However, they are flexible with good grip and were much more heat resistant than other pairs I've had. These barely felt warm when my older gloves would have barely given me enough time to get an item from the oven to the counter before getting too hot.
