I am please with the flashlight for the most part, it is very bright and easy to adjust. Memory would be nice as it changes settings every time you switch it on and off. What I am not pleased with is the charger and the directions that came from the shipper. The battery has to go in exactly opposite of the way it's illustrated and explained in the instructions in order to charge. If you follow the directions the battery will show as fully charged all the time and will never charge. The charger itself is very cheap and not very easy to use. An upgrade to the charger would be a vast improvement to this product. The AAA adapter works well enough.

This is a great light - exactly as advertised at a much better price. I bought one and liked it so much, I bought a second one. The second one arrived without the battery, I contacted Amazon about the problem and was told to ship it back and order another one. How ridiculous when all I needed was the battery. I went to Survival Hax directly and even over the weekend my problem was solved within hours. Terrific company to deal with, believe me, GREAT people. Check them out, they have all kinds of survival gear. The way the country is going you may need them sooner than you think.

I just received my Survival Hack Flashlight. Much like a great pair of shoes you know you have the right ones when they feel comfortable from the get-go. That's how this torch feels in my hand. The ergonomics are flawless. Not too heavy and very well balanced. I am also impressed with the customer service from Survival Hack. About 2 days before the package arrived I received an email from Survival Hack with some FAQ's and simple instructions. This demonstrates the difference between good customer service and great customer service. Of course like most customers I did not read the instructions, ripped into the box and then started screwing the lens off thinking that is where the batteries go. I stopped in time and now I know the animal inside and out. I am going camping next month so we will give this baby a test run. I also like having both the rechargeable and AAA battery options. Will let you know how it goes.

Powerful Tactical Led Flashlight. But the Zoom Adjustment is loose so beware exposure to rainwater or moisture. The 3.7V 18650 with the plastic sleeve fit nicely but charging takes 5 to 6 Hours. I use this when hiking in the Park at night but don't leave it inside the Flashlight for storage as prevented measure for Li-ion battery shorting and over heating. This is preventive measures for fire hazard at home. Don't trust the built in safety features inside battery it can be faulty after overheating. All my Three Computers and Electronics with Li-ion Batteries are always turned OFF at night and when leaving home. Keep in mind that all surge protectors are prevention only from outside Volt and Surge Spikes.Amazon are very efficient in responding and managing on-line purchases. Never had any problem with them since 2005.

After receiving this torchlight from Survival Hax and checking it out, I immediately ordered a second one----one for the home, one for my wife's car. Brightness is as advertised, operation is simple, the zoom function is smooth, build quality is high (the claim is that it can survive a 30' drop; I see no reason to doubt that claim), and the customer support from the seller is outstanding. After each order I received an email from a Survival Hax staffer who alerted me to the shipment plus provided a list of FAQs and answers. Should there be a problem, I would be confident that the company would address it quickly.As an aside, I have a fairly isolated residence, and if I come home after dark, the wild boars are often on the roam. With this torch in hand, I am certain I'll see any of them out and about in time to avoid them. It is possible the torch's powerful strobe function would disorient them, too, though I haven't yet had occasion to test that.

This was probably a bit overpriced, I wanted one with a higher lumen than the other I had been looking at, but this really doesn't seem much brighter. Certainly not as bright as they claim.The charger is about the cheapest thing I've ever seen. Really horrible.The light is solid at least, and the "zooming" movement is smooth. Power button works well, but getting the various modes is not consistent.I do like the fact that the rechargeable battery can be replaced on need with normal batteries using the included adapter.Not sure what happened with mine prior to shipping, but the wrist strap was out through the side since nothing was wrapped up inside the box.

A great durable outdoors flashlight. Comes with a charger and 3.7v 18650 battery or can also use 3 triple AAA batteries. The battery life is a great I used it constantly for 3 hours straight following a blood trail, and was impressed by its durability as well as its brightness as a blood light. The zoom capability makes this flashlight extremely versatile. I love me some good customer service and these guys are Great, capital G. The light itself works as expected and has some nice heft to it. It took me a few seconds to figure out the modes. Its bright, but compact. Love it.
