I found this electric kettle is sturdier than I expected. Small footprint on the counter and keeps open the burner where the stovetop kettle once sat when not in use. Beautiful lighting when boiling water! And love that you can switch it on for a quick reheat. Just be careful bc if you do this repeatedly the handle will get hot. Once in a while it forgets to turn off once the water has boiled so it’s good to stay in the kitchen while it’s boiling. Nice thick cord. I haven’t had to clean it yet but it looks like it will be as easy to clean and to remove calcium deposits as it is to use. Comes with a good little manual. Bottom line is that my husband wasnt too sure about its ease of use and convenience until he used it a couple of times. Then he told me what a great kettle it is and thanked me for getting it. Win!!Update: my beautiful kettle just died. It lasted from November’22 to Feb ‘24. It was used heavily every day so even though I wish it hadn’t mysteriously stopped working out of the blue (it worked fine right until it didn’t)I feel it was a solid value for the price

This boils water in 5 minutes from the time you place it on its base full to 1.7 liters of water. ( not quite 2 qts). I found out it's for safety, that you can fill it all the way up. It's splash out and burn you. It's SAFE. The blue light at the base comes in while it's boiling, and shuts off when the pot shuts itself off. I boil 2 pots of water and pour it in my Rubber Maid 4 qt, pitcher with teabags to steep. I end up with approx 1 gallon of concentrated tea liquid, which I dilute as I drink it. All in about 15 minutes tops. It used to take 2 or 3 hours when I'd use the big pots and pans. I love iced tea and I can't drink COKE, ( due to my stomach), so this is a Life Saver.It's pretty. Compact. Inexpensive. You'll want this. Especially if you're only boiling water for cereal, or hot tea, or coffee, etc. Instructions for cleaning are included. (Soak in vinegar, rinse and repeat x2.).

We absolutely love this electric tea kettle. It boils the water in a couple minutes and shuts itself off when done. Didn’t know it has lights that make the water look blue. It’s so pretty. How did we ever get along without this kettle? We highly recommend. Not one negative thing to say about this product and the price is right also.

Unlike the white colored ones you can see the water boil with your kids if you got any, and it does it job very well, would recommend to others

The kettle is on the small side so it doesn’t take up a ton of counter space but still large enough to hold enough water to easily make at least 4 cups of coffee or tea.It doesn’t take long for the water to start boiling in the video because it was already pretty warm since I boiled it in the kettle 2 minutes before I started recording. But, when heating water from room temperature, it’ll take a full 60 seconds or more for your water to start boiling.This kettle also has an automatic shut off feature which is really nice so you don’t have to worry about it dry burning if you walk away & leave it on. I also like that it has a built-in filter and that you have to release the latch for the lid to open which is a nice added safety measure.The reason I only gave it 4 stars is because mine came with a cracked base (see picture).

I love this electric water kettle. I use it daily, sometimes multiple times a day. It takes about 1 minute to boil at minimum capacity, and about 5 minutes at maximum capacity.It's nice that the button to open the lid doesn't need to be held down to keep the lid open. The lid doesn't open to a full 90°, but it's a big enough opening to pour water in, or fill it with a faucet/hose. It's also a big enough opening to easily wash.

Great for pour-over coffee and tea and hot chocolate! Heats super fast, even if you add the max amount of water to the pot. I love this! This one is in my kitchen and I will probably buy another for my home office. Really enjoy it.
