This camera has great features and good image recording, but stopped working after only 1 month. First it would not record and then the screen went blank and would not come on. Returning it.Update 11-8-2016: The customer service at SmarTure is fantastic! They agreed that there was a defect in my device and sent me another one and so far, this one is working great! I love the resolution on this device. I also like the smaller size of the device. So I am changing my review based on the customer service and the new device working without issue. Thanks.

The image quality is good. I wouldn't expect less from a high definition camera.I bought a 32GB ultra class 10 card to be used along with this camera. However, the camera would stop recording and give an error message of "Card speed too slow" or something in that sense. After trying different settings along with flashing the camera with the recent firmware, I finally gave up and bought and Sandisk Extreme card. This apparently solved the problem.The two features of LDWS(Lane Departure Warning System), FCWS(Forward Collision Warning System) do not really work well. In a previous car I had I had the Mobileye system installed and you cannot even compare the quality of warning this system has to what the SmarTure has. I bought this camera with the hope that it will function more or less the same way as the Mobileye but it under performed. I do not recommend turning it on at all.Also, the sound quality of the camera is quite poor and the warning sound it generates can hardly be noticed if the radio is turned on.For the price of this camera I'm quite disappointed that the additional features I wanted do not work well.At least it's working and records video...

The camera is by far a lot better than the cheap one I had before good pictures even in the dark when recording, but stopped working after 4 month. It would turn off after 5 seconds or 2 or 3 or 4 minutes had to plug and unplug all the time even throe it was connected in the car all the time when put on the computer would not stay on long enough for me to look at the settings, they have told me a few things to try but still the same problem to much money for some thing that only last 3 or 4 months. Just spent $10 to send it back for repair see what happen next. Thank you for the time spent trying to get this taken care of still don't see how the setting on screensaver changed it was all ways plugged in and left in the truck. I drove it about 40 miles and it did stay on.I have to give you credit for all the times you got back with me and helped me through it. Camera still working well like it is supposed to.

2 MAJOR flaws1-Battery doesn't hold a "long lasting" charge as the description says. It actually lasts ONLY 10 seconds and prematurely turns off when unplugged.The battery was left to charge in the house before used in the car. It simply just doesn't hold a charge. Maybe old battery or just bad quality overall and with battery malfunctions on the rise lately I am not taking that risk.2-No Parking Monitor. What's the point of a dash cam with a battery (if battery even worked as designed) and G sensor if while the car is parked somebody can come and do anything to your car without you ever catching a simple snap of it.Other flaws. Instructions in broken English. Doesn't use the standard USB android phone type plug (uses an older less common usb plug, no big deal), the build quality is cheap feeling and cheap looking plastic. Picture looks ok tho. Settings are very limited. No setting for G sensor sensitivity and No apparent setting for resolution(ill check again). Does not show any settings for HDR and WDR.Bought 2, will be returning both asap.Positive things about this camera is that for less techy people you can just plug it in and go. (don't forget the 32gb SDcard)It's very light, feels like its just plastic and nothing inside, so that's good. BUT it also means the battery is small and light as well which can explain why it doesn't even hold a charge.

It mostly worked when I got it. By that I mean that it seemed to do what it is supposed to do except it will not replay without removing the card and putting it in my computer. It also randomly goes to a solid blue light and the screen doesn't shut off. When I first set it up, everything worked correctly other than the replay mode.Today, as I was setting it up for a permanent mount, it started a rapid beeping with a solid blue light with the start-up screen. It will not shut off. Neither removing the power nor pushing the on/off button helped. So, for now it sits in my garage out of hearing distance while it's internal battery runs out of power.I'd like to recommend it but, as of now, it's just a noise maker in my garage. If someone from SmarTure can help, please do so quickly. If you want to replace it, I'm willing to give it one more try, but not two more chances.For now, I have to say that it's simply not working.

This dash cam works great, they have updated instructions now, that make it very easy to use. The video has a nice clear image, better than other cameras I have used. The camera arrived nicely packaged with all of the accessories required. You need to supply your own micro sd card up to 32 gb. Thank you.Have now had it a few months and still working great. Very pleased with this camera.

Very good pic.Bought it in 2016 - just died - makes a constant buzzing sound which never stops and None of the buttons work.

I was drawn to this product by its headline Drive Fatigue function. Unfortunately the drive fatigue function does not work adequately and I am returning the product. If you are not focused on the fatigue function the dash cam is a good product in spite of the instruction being written in a very small font and In poor English

So far so good! Fast and accurate response for questions. Quality of image is perfect! To view the mp4 need minimum win7. XP do not play smooth video. No zooming and image flip… In overall 5 stars

The camera seems to be working well. It’s compact and the wire is long so can be hidden easily

Quality of video is acceptable, little grainy though. It's good as 1080p, but definitely not true 2K. You can't read license plates unless you're close enough. Audio is terrible - mic is too sensitive so recorded sound is distorted, and there is no option to set audio level. Tested this cam with -25` C - works great. Viewing angle is wide enough to capture surroundings. Dashcam sticks firmly to the windshield. Price wise it's OK. Overall I'm not disappointed but not impressed for sure.

PROsOutstanding image quality for the price.Decent construction.Very good range of Functions (if you can figure out how to access!)CONsThe poor (Typical Chinese translated and brief) instructions make it unnecessarily hard work to exploit the full potential of all features. I would not consider the top menu system to be "intuitive" either.I think some other reviewers here are perhaps overly generous due to vendor product offerings?

Great little dash cam. Best I've had so far and it's very reliable. Low-light was most important and it delivers HD quality images. Very easy to read licence plates at night and even in the rain. Best bang for the buck. I'll see how it performs down the road too.
