Extremely strong
I feel like the one important lesson I've learned using VHB over the years is be careful what you attach it to and with how much. I've destroyed so much drywall and PVC from being unable to remove things I've VHBed together. And when you do want to remove something that's been attached with VHB, twisting seems to be the key to removing without damaging things. Its invaluable stuff, I keep a roll around the the workshop and its always coming in handy.

Sticky and durable
It has been over five years now since I have used this product. I had trim peeling off of a 2002 vehicle and I used this product to reattach it. I cleaned the surfaces well. The adhesive is very sticky, so make sure you get it on straight to start with. I do not think you would be able to peel and reapply with out damaging the product. I temporarily added a wood strip to the area to guide the application. Vehicle is parked out in the sun/weather year round. Still solid.

Very Strong and Great For Cable Management
I bought this adhesive tape to use for cable management with my at-home desk. To start, I have 4 monitors resulting in tons of wires. This adhesive was used to stick cable railways (for hide the cables) and 2 12-outlet extension cords to my standing desk. So far, it shows no signs of weakening and seems to be very strong. As for removing the tape, I had to re-adjust one of the extension cords and it was very hard to remove. It will probably remove paint when removing if you apply it to a wall or something alike. As for applying the tape, removing the red side which covers the "adhesive" side was pretty difficult but can be done. To make it easier, I used a knife to lift one corner and a pair of tweezers to remove the rest.Otherwise, the adhesive is very strong and would definitely use again for cable management.

Almost too adherent!
I used this to tape down solar night lights to my concrete stairs outside, a notoriously difficult surface to work with when it comes to conventional adhesives. After about a year, I had to take them off recently because we were getting some work done. I couldn't even get them to move! I had to use 2 screwdrivers to slowly pry them off via some leverage. I was skeptical but this tape did the job through a year of NY heat, cold, rain, etc on a porous surface and likely would have lasted years without degrading.

It's 3M, so of course it's going to do what it says.
I picked this up because the tape included with the phone mount in my car failed when it started warming up earlier this year. I'm fairly sure it was the same tape, but because of the shape of the phone mount base I didn't get a solid adhesion when I originally mounted it.This is the reason I went with 4 stars for ease of use, since you have to ensure that the tape gets good pressure across the entire mounting surface to ensure it properly adheres, which can be difficult in some situations. In my case, I had to remove the trim panel in my car and use clamps due to the texture of the panel and slight curve on the mount. However after taking that extra step, it is definitely holding as strong as this tape is supposed to.It has been mounted for a couple of weeks now, and the temperatures are starting to dip down below freezing. This tape is supposed to hold solid down to -40 degrees, something we rarely see around these parts, but if I have any issues I will update this. Likewise, when next summer comes around and we start seeing temps into the 100s/40s I will update if it starts to release then as well.

This stuff is STRONG
The VHB line of tapes from 3M is really impressive. It performs well under a wide range of conditions and has never let me down. Make sure to go to 3M’s website to read how to properly use the tape. A little goes a long way.I wish the backing that peels off were split to make it easier to remove. It’s a small inconvenience to pay for such an amazing product. I still recommend this stuff 100%.
