works well but a lot of work
We tried this for a couple of months to reduce the cost of the Nespresso Vertuo pods. It was a fun exercise the first couple of times, but after that it became a major chore to keep up with our coffee consumption. The product works well and after you get a large number of cleaned original pods, the resealed ones are easy to remove, clean, and reuse. Recommend the product, but don't recommend this strategy long term.

Great idea that works excellent!
There's work to do on the pods you are going to reuse but once that's done these are perfect. I use a razor to cut the previous foil from the metal pods. Use the inside edge of the metal pod to guide your razor. You'll be a pro after a few pods. Then throw out/recycle the old foil pod covers & wash /rinse out the used coffee grinds. Pay attention to how fine the coffee is from Nespresso as you rinse it out. The coffee you will use to refill your pods needs to be just as fine or you will only get weak coffee. Let the washed /rinsed pods dry completely (at least 12 hours in my experience) before filling with your favorite (very fine ground) coffee. Fill the pods almost to the rim but be careful not to get grinds on the top edge that these awesome Grasseed foil pod covers are going to stick to. Try to put the foil on as evenly as possible and double check that the foil is stuck on the edge all the way around. Now it's ready to use the same way you did when the pod was new. Remember that the pods have bar codes that tell the coffee maker what size /strength coffee to make. If you are using a double shot pod then it will again be making a double shot of your new coffee. Hope this helps. I think it's well worth the effort to save money and be able to use your favorite coffee in your Nespresso Vertuo machine.

The best
I have two other kinds and this one seems much thicker and the sticky is very good. I won't try another brand again unless I have to... This brand also has colored ones available if u want to color code your different kinds of coffee 👍👍👍

95% great with tips
This works well for me 95% of the time; occasionally, it doesn't, and I get a flashing red light. Here is what I think I've figured out. There is a bar code around the edge of the cup - this must not be covered. If a cup is used too often, this code may be rubbed off or damaged and not work. If I see the side of the cups are starting to look like the color is rubbing off I toss them. The cup needs to be filled to the top and flattened. Too high or low, it flashes red. sometimes I need to give a little extra yet gentle push down to get it to work. I keep a small supply of new cups to use occasionally if I run into a time when I get the red flash. Maybe it's just me, but it seems to help. These occasional hassles don't diminish the value of these. There are still huge savings over buying the cups. If you call for help - they are very helpful in many different cases - but they will tell you they won't guarantee performance if you use these.

Difficult to center on capsule for sealing
I have used these "three times" now for making my reusable pods. I usually do around 20-30 each time. What I am noticing is that the foil is so close to the size of the pods, it's hard to get it sealed correctly. I always have one side that's overlapping and one that barely meets the brim. Sounds easy to adjust but can't seem to get it, and it sometimes leads to sealing problems-I'm finding some pods covers are peeling back up after a few days. Not sure of the actual diameter but may look for some that are slightly bigger than the pods so it's not as tedious to get a seal. I know it can't be too much or it won't read the bar code, but I'd say maybe 3mm more would be ideal
