Worked perfect.

installed on my grandfather's 1983 Partner Pioneer 500. the original was slipping bad. its like a new saw again!

Did not recall its a left hand thread to the crankshaft. By the time I got thru torqueing it the wrong way with my air tool it was REALLY tight. But the half in. air wrench took it off. the rest is EZ. One caution when I picked up the old stuff off the crank the roller bearings rolled on the floor. Came out with the clutch and gravity took over. This kit replaces the rollers so it was OK this time. Tried it out on some dead limbs, worked like a champ. Nothing heavy yet. Total recovery so far from a slipping clutch. My Husquvarna 51 has seen zero repairs in 40 years til now, sure didn't owe me anything.

I received this clutch and sprocket kit on Friday for my Husqvarna 51. I tried to install it on Saturday. The sprocket drum, rim sprocket and bearing all fit fine. The problem was the clutch. It would only go on about half way and there is damage to the threads inside the clutch. I attached photos . Two photos show the max distance the clutch would go on and two show the damage to the threads. Thank-you

The internal threads were cut off center and burred so badly it wouldn't thread onto the shaft.

the teeth the rim sprocket slides on aren't smooth and catch when installing. won't move easily as it should. I had to use the old drum. tried other rim sprockets on it but no improvement. I'll have to wire brush it when I have time.
