Description

The E-Z Hatch Attic Access Door is an air-tight, high-performance, energy-efficient attic access scuttle door. It is R-50 or R-80 rated, triple-gasketed, pre-finished, and fits in a 22 ½” x 30 ½” rough opening. It is an energy efficient alternative to energy wasting attic pull down ladders, and exceeds all Code requirements. Deluxe version is provided with 4-point lock and handles, keyed alike or different. Product is less expensive than the Code required insulated and gasketed stair cover. Exceeds all IRC, IECC Code Requirements. Meets the LEED Energy & Atmosphere Credits 3.1 (Minimal Envelope Leakage), and Exceeds the LEED Energy & Atmosphere Credit for Enhanced Insulation. Easy to install in new or existing construction.
