Clovis Keeps His Cool

I bought this for my child and the illustration are so cute. I would say this is best for school aged kids. Great for address by bullying, emotions, and turning a negative to a positive.

I saw this book mentioned in a tea magazine and wanted it immediately for my daughter. However, no one got it for her, LOL.I finally owned up that *I* wanted it and got it for me. It is amazing. Well written, beautiful pictures, and a great message about tea as well as character development. I read it just for fun when I need a moment; it is like a literature tea break, which is amazing.

I read this story one time through from the library and IMMEDIATELY bought a copy for my nephew's first birthday. The story is well told and bonus! It encourages kids to work through their emotions in a calm manner, rather than reacting in the heat of the moment. It also has a strong anti-BULLying message.And the illusTRATions!!!!! A-MA-zing! Jaw droppingly amazing.

I like this story. It is fun - appropriate for anybody, and teaches a good way to handle difficult situations.

This book is a good story teaching kindness, thinking of others and healthy ways to cope with anger. It truly is a fun story with cute illustrations. My grandson loves it.

We love Clovis! He's a bull, but he's not a bully!!! This book encouraged us to talk about bullying and the way it makes everyone feel. It's delightful, clever and the illustrations are wonderful! I highly recommend this book...we read it over and over and never get tired of it!!!

I absolutely adored the lessons “Clovis” helped illustrate for my kindergartener. We’ve had a rough transition into school but the mindfulness techniques in this book fostered such a good conversation between us. Big feelings, grace, and tea make “Clovis” our new favorite for bedtime.

My son is one of those hot first ask question later type kids. To have a main character who has brute strength show a anger rage than calm down was really relatable to my boy. Every library needs this book

I got this book for my 4 year old nephew and he loves this book a lot. He even tells other people about Clovis when they get upset. Funny side note, my daughter who is a preteen also enjoys this book a lot, although she pretends to be too cool to read picture books. This book is perfect for all ages.
