The wood on the frame serived chipped and the hanger on the back is poorly integrated in a way where it easily rips off the frame

When I opened it the wood frame was broken!!!

I bought a pair of these frames to hang some A2 posters. As noted in some other reviews, when they arrived they were very dusty. But given that the "glass" is protected on each side with film, it wasn't an issue in the slightest.In fairness, these are not the greatest quality frames - the paper veneer was slightly damaged in a couple of corners, but given I'm using them to hang posters not an oil painting, that isn't an issue either.As they don't use real glass but a plastic protector, the frames are very lightweight and so are easy to hang (and safe too, if they fall off, there's no glass to break). After removing the film, the panel was totally transparent (very reflective to light though) and with no scratches.I didn't use the built in hanger, I screwed on my own to try and make them more flush (and hidden) to the door I attached the posters too.Also nice to buy something made in the UK rather than something shipped across half the globe.I've been using them for 10 months now without a problem. and all in all, I'm pretty pleased with these frames and would buy them again.

I had this delivered yesterday and found that after unboxing and removing the protective cellophane, two small pieces of black metal fell out. These were the clips that are supposed to be attached to the back of the frame and bend onto the backing wood to hold the picture in place.Upon further investigation, I found that these both came off one long edge of the frame, leaving just one more clip which is very loose to the touch. I suspect as soon as an attempt is made to fold it out, it will come away too.This was bought from Amazon with no option but to return it for a replacement. As anyone can attest, the size of the delivery box is enormous. Trying to return this would be a nightmare so I have no choice but to keep this and try to secure the back some other way.Don't chance it. Not worth the hassle.

I have purchased these frames from GB many times before. However, this time I got some sort of cheap alternative. The blue paper (pictured) was not present in the frames, and the frames are slightly different. This annoys me as I like to have all my frames the same. Not only that, but the construction is shabby compared to the ones pictured. The perspex isn't cut good and is too tight, resulting in scoring it trying to frame my poster. Not happy, and I will seek an alternative source for these in the future.

Not too bad for the price. I wanted some larger photos hanging on my wall so I got a couple of these. The Perspex has a protective film on each side to prevent scratches before you have the item. This was very noticeable and easy to remove. The backing is securely clipped in with multiple metal hooks on the back of the frame. There are two small metal wall hooks on the back of the frame which slide around freely so can be moved but be careful not to loose these when you remove the backing to put the picture/poster inside.Once assembled with a picture/poster they look ok. The Perspex is quite reflective depending on the light it is in so can ruin it slightly. The -1 star is for this reason. They are very light frames so no worries with hanging them on the wall.The edge of the frame is a nice sandy coloured wood which is exactly what we wanted to match other oak furniture in the room.

I like these and have around four now, they are light in weight and big enough to put posters.I like the grey best but I have 3 white ones. I like the fact that the plastic glass like front comes with a film on both sides to keep it protected.The only thing I have to say it’s that if dropped can be easily damaged specially the corners, apart from that it’s fantastic to put kids art in!
