This does cover my ears, and comes with the ear plugs. I end up flipping the ear flaps up and not using the ear plugs because water gets trapped beneath the ear flap and water goes in my ears anyway. Then, the water is stuck there until I finish my lap and can pause to adjust it. I just flip the ear flaps up and it is like a normal swim cap. I'm disappointed in this, because I bought it to keep water out of my ears.I have used the ear plugs with it, but the cap pushes them into my ears and that is uncomfortable.

I'm very impressed with this swim cap! My hair is almost waist length. With even under water swimming, my hair stayed pretty dry. I don't have a little head, it fit well over my head and kept the water out of my ears! I also have a strong problem with latex, I had no problem at all. Again, I'm impressed.

I was disappointed because when I kicked off the wall the area by the ears would flap back causing water to enter into my ears. Not good for people who have ear issues.

much better than the standard latex. My daughter uses it with her long hair, I use it too. Tho it doesn't really keep water out esp. of ears, and hair does get wet - its not the hassle to put on and off like the standard. Easy and large enough.
