I bought this for my puzzle loving 2-year old, but my 3.5 year old is the one that loves it. It is a very simple concept, but it has provided hours of entertainment. The Hexacus comes with a book of ideas of things to build using the blocks or you can invent your own structure to build. The ideas are endless and require basic skills such as stacking, color recognition, counting, balance, and the ability to identify how different sizes of things work with each other.

Amazing toy for toddlers and older kids. The basic set of 12 shapes allows up to 171 different designs, ranging from simple to pretty advanced (which might need adults to assist for younger kids). If you add a second identical set then the possibilities are endless as far as I can see. Sturdy, well made, colorful and attention catching, exactly what toys for toddlers should be.

Best toy for teaching patterns, balance, and symmetry to children in a fun way. The children at my day care play with them regularly.

Perfect toy for my daycare

見た瞬間に欲しくなりました。イマジネーションを刺激される、面白い六角形の積木(？)です。素材はプラスチック。しっかり重ねて遊んでもよし、バランスを取って重ねてもよしで、価格もお求め安いしお子様がいる家庭にはオススメです。贈り物にしても気が利いていて良さそう。

実は同じものが行きつけの歯医者に置いてあり、順番待ちの間孫に何気なく教えたら思いの外のめり込んでました。それならと注文したのですが、色がキレイ、作りもしっかりしてます。組み方によりかなりの種類の形ができるものです。孫は自分なりの考えで真剣に遊んでます。たった１２ピースですが、参考の絵をみながら大人も一緒に楽しめます。想像力が養えるかなって勝手に期待しています。
